Job description

This is a remote position.

TTRO is an organisation of passionate and talented individuals who design and develop innovative learning solutions to upskill and empower people for now and for the future. We believe in driving change through next generation learning by combining immersive technologies and learning methodologies to deliver relevant competencies that add value to your organisation and your people.

We are looking for an organised and delivery-focused Project Manager to own the successful delivery of our learning solutions on scope, on time, on budget and to the quality our clients expect. You are the person who turns a signed solution into a delivered outcome, holding the delivery team, the plan and team capacity together from kick-off to close.

An excellent communicator and coordinator, you will work effectively with contractors and colleagues at all levels, and you will bring calm, structure and momentum to complex, fast-moving delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Taking accountability for the end-to-end delivery of assigned learning projects and programmes, from kick-off through to sign-off and handover.

Building and maintaining realistic delivery plans, milestones and critical paths, and keeping them current as work evolves.

Tracking progress against scope, schedule and budget, and acting early when any of the three is at risk.

Working with resourcing to secure the right mix of skills — designers, developers, media, QA and specialist contractors — for each engagement.

Coordinating a blended team of employees and independent contractors, giving clear briefs, priorities and expectations.

Removing blockers, balancing competing demands and keeping the team focused and productive.

Acting as the delivery-facing point of contact for clients, running status updates, reviews and delivery governance.

Managing expectations, surfacing trade-offs early, and translating between client needs and delivery reality.

Making sure delivered work meets TTRO’s quality standards and the agreed brief before it reaches the client.

Identifying, logging and managing delivery risks and issues, with clear mitigation and escalation.

Managing project budgets, effort and margin, and flagging scope changes for commercial review rather than absorbing them.

Running structured close-outs — capturing lessons learned, effort actuals and reusable assets.

Requirements

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or related qualification, with a minimum of five years’ experience delivering projects or programmes, ideally in EdTech, learning, digital, agency or professional-services environments.

Demonstrable experience managing multi-disciplinary delivery teams and external contractors.

Experience delivering client-facing work to deadline and budget, including managing scope and change.

Experience working within, or in close partnership with, an instructional design and content production workflow (storyboarding, SME review cycles and QA of eLearning modules) is preferred.

Strong planning, organisation, tracking and reporting skills.

Confident written and verbal communication with clients, teams and leadership.

A high level of confidence, professionalism and interpersonal skills.

Good work ethic and time management skills.

Experience working in a virtual environment with global audiences and remote teams.

Ability to adapt to ad hoc requests, scope changes and remain productive in response to a fluctuating and dynamic work environment.

Advantageous

Project or agile delivery certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 or Scrum Master).

Familiarity with learning design, content production or LMS delivery (e.g. Moodle, SCORM/xAPI publishing).

Experience delivering across multiple geographies (South Africa, UAE and MENA).

Experience managing independent contractors within a blended delivery model.

Confident working across delivery and collaboration tooling — including project management and time-tracking platforms such as Zoho Projects or similar — to manage project plans, tasks, resources and reporting.

Commercial awareness — managing budgets, effort and margin across engagements.
