Job description

This is a remote position.

We’re looking for a proactive and growth-minded Business Development & Marketing Intern to support Jourhney’s brand-building and expansion efforts in the global education space. This role is ideal for someone passionate about marketing, partnerships, and scaling platforms through creative campaigns and strategic collaborations.

Core Responsibilities

Marketing
  • Plan and execute digital campaigns (SEO, social media, paid ads, email).
  • Create or oversee content (blogs, newsletters, video scripts, presentations).
  • Manage social media presence (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube) to attract students.
  • Run growth experiments (referral programs, ambassador initiatives, influencer outreach).
Partnerships & Business Development
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships relationships 
  • Conduct market research to find new opportunities and expansion paths.
  • Represent Jourhney at events, webinars, and conferences to increase visibility.
Growth & Performance
  • Track KPIs across marketing and partnerships.
  • Prepare monthly reports on campaign and partnership performance.
  • Align activities with Jourhney’s revenue and visibility targets.


Requirements

  • Recent graduate in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Interest in EdTech, global education, or fintech.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing (social media, SEO, email marketing).
  • Strong communication, writing, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency with tools like Canva, Google Workspace, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn, adaptable, and proactive in taking initiative.
