Job description

This is a remote position.

With more than 30 years of experience, our team specializes in the development of factory automation and stands as a premier industrial controls enterprise nationally. Our core focus lies in providing top-tier products and services for the automation and optimization of compressed air systems. With multiple industrial patents, we boast a proficient team comprising experts from diverse backgrounds.

Our track record speaks for itself; having successfully implemented efficient air system solutions across all industrial sectors, we've installed over 1,500 control systems globally and automated almost 10,000 air compressors. Notably, our efforts have collectively saved our clientele an estimated 2.8 billion kWh/year.

Currently, we are in search of a seasoned professional to join our team in the capacity of a Regional Sales Engineer. This role will entail operating within designated territories, fostering relationships with both new and existing clientele, and providing tailored system optimization solutions that meet specific sustainability goals.

Ideal Location for Candidates: Phoenix, Las Vegas, Dallas/Fort Worth, Salt Lake City.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all sales activities for assigned territory
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish and track sales targets aligned with company growth objectives
  • Generate new business through existing and potential customer networks
  • Manage relationships with distribution partners within a territory
  • Identify opportunities for air system assessments, system automation projects, and turnkey solutions
  • Conduct site visits and walkthroughs to gather and validate preliminary information
  • Strategize and execute plans to close new business opportunities
  • Provide technical guidance to customers on compressed air systems, collaborating with internal engineering teams to offer solutions
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships within engineering, sustainability, purchasing, and facility management
  • Provide timely updates to CRM (Salesforce) on activities and opportunities
  • Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring that customer goals are met within specified timelines


Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH COMPRESSED AIR 
  • 5 years experience in technical sales / business development, preferably in industrial automation
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Experience to manage and prioritize tasks effectively while working remotely
  • with maintaining information within CRM software (Salesforce experience preferred)
  • Strong business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
  • Position requires regional travel within North America (Upwards of 50%)
  • US Citizenship required
