Job description

This is a remote position.

Haldren is looking for a part-time remote onboarding consultant to support conversations with prospective clients. These companies have already been screened, qualified, and expressed an interest in receiving assistance with active hiring requirements.

The position offers an experienced recruitment or business development professional the opportunity to apply decades of career knowledge in a flexible, home-based consulting role.

A successful consultant will communicate with confidence and professionalism while exploring each company’s operational and recruitment needs. This person must be capable of leading senior-level discussions, asking relevant questions, listening closely, and sharing useful preliminary observations. Establishing confidence in the firm and its services will be central to every interaction.

Roles and Responsibilities

Call Delivery

  • Take prospective clients through an established qualification structure to assess alignment and suitability.
  • Present the commercial value and potential return on investment offered by the firm’s recruitment services.
  • Maintain strong listening skills and a consistently professional presence during every discussion.
  • Complete between one and three scheduled video calls each day with companies considering executive recruitment support.

Client Handover and Follow-Through

  • Respond to questions and complete timely follow-ups with active leads and recently onboarded clients.
  • Transfer qualified opportunities to the recruitment team, supported by accurate notes on business needs and hiring priorities.
  • Partner with administration to ensure expectations, timelines, and further actions are recorded clearly.

Record-Keeping and Process Improvement

  • Update the CRM and Slack after every call with complete notes, current statuses, and required next steps.
  • Review individual pipeline performance and propose adjustments that may improve lead conversion.


Requirements

  • Extensive Career Experience: A minimum of 25 years of previous professional work experience across any industry.
  • Advanced Communication Skills: Communicates clearly in writing and conversation, presenting detailed recruitment services in language clients can easily understand.
  • Analytical Thinking: Interprets information and client responses quickly, then identifies realistic opportunities to strengthen existing processes.
  • Recruitment or Sales Background: At least two successful years in full-cycle recruitment or consultative B2B sales, with experience securing service agreements.
  • Self-Management: Works dependably and independently, manages scheduling effectively, and meets agreed performance measures from a professional home office.
  • Technology Confidence: Experienced with CRM software, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and common office applications used for record-keeping and pipeline management.
  • Consultative Listening: Asks focused questions to uncover client requirements and restates key information to verify accuracy.
