At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Java Developer to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovative, transformative, and multicultural environment.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Java Developer, you will lead the design and development of a scalable cloud-based solution, employing Java, Spring Boot, and AWS. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with client expectations. Your role is significant in shaping the future of technology at CI&T, where collaboration, innovation, and transformation are at our core, driven by the power of AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical solutions.
• Integrate with front-end components and external APIs to ensure seamless application performance.
• Maintain and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices for code quality.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning and growth.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must-have Skills:

• Proven experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong proficiency with Java and related frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Proficiency in English (both speaking and reading).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience working with containerization tools like Docker.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies.
