GLOBAL PROCUREMENT MANAGER

Teamswell is a high-growth nearshore outsourcing company working for US companies. We are currently looking for an experienced and commercially driven Global Procurement Manager to lead international sourcing and procurement activities for plastic raw materials, recycled polymers, scrap, and related commodities across key global markets, including North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Global Sourcing & Procurement: Source plastic raw materials, recycled polymers, scrap, and related commodities across North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.

• Demand Fulfillment: Partner closely with the India sales team to understand material demands and fulfill volume needs through global suppliers.

• Supplier & Relationship Management: Identify, build, and maintain long-term, recurring supply accounts via active outreach (calls, emails, virtual meetings).

• Cross-Border Coordination: Collaborate with the global trading team, international sourcing partners, and traders across different time zones.

• Market Intelligence & Pipeline Tracking: Monitor global plastic/petrochemical pricing trends and track sourcing pipelines via CRM tools.

• Commercial Performance: Drive metrics including container volume sourced, demand fulfillment rate, new supplier acquisition, recurring monthly supply, and gross profit contribution.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven background in international procurement, commodity trading, polymers, plastics recycling, petrochemicals, scrap, or paper.

• Demonstrated experience making regular supplier outreach calls and managing international accounts.

• Ability to adapt working hours to coordinate with suppliers and teams across North America, Europe, and Asia.

• Strong commercial/negotiation instincts, self-driven ownership mentality, and excellent verbal and written English communication.

• Open to remote work, provided the candidate can independently manage global supplier pipelines in a fast-paced environment.
