HELM is now hiring Virtual Commercial Fleet Sales Representative (OEM Program), responsible for generating and qualifying commercial sales opportunities for our OE client among small-to-medium businesses with fleets of 100 or fewer vehicles. The Sales Representative will manage the top and middle of the sales funnel through proactive prospecting, high-volume outbound calling, email and digital outreach, and lead nurturing. This position will work closely with Regional Managers and the Dealer Network to transition qualified opportunities into closed commercial vehicle sales.


Responsibilities:


· Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively identify and target small-to-medium businesses (SMBs) with commercial fleets of 10 to 100 vehicles.

· High-Volume Outreach: Conduct outbound cold calling, email campaigns, and digital outreach to introduce the OE commercial vehicle lineup and dealer benefits.

· Sales Funnel Management: Build, organize, and nurture a robust sales pipeline. Qualify leads based on fleet size, purchase timeline, and vehicle specifications (cargo, towing, payload needs).

· Collaborative Hand-Off: Act as the critical link between virtual prospecting and physical sales. Partner with Regional Managers to deliver highly qualified "hot leads," providing them with deep context to ensure a high close rate.

· Dealer Network Liaison: Connect qualified business buyers with their local Dealer Network partners to facilitate vehicle demonstrations, quotes, and delivery.

· CRM Precision: Maintain meticulous records of all interactions, lead stages, and follow-up tasks in the CRM system to ensure seamless coordination with the field team.

Requirements

Preferred Background / Experience:

· Experience: 2+ years of inside sales, outbound lead generation, or B2B call center experience. Automotive, commercial vehicle, or fleet experience is a major plus. 

· Communication: Exceptional phone presence and written communication skills; ability to build instant rapport with business owners and fleet managers. 

· Tech Savvy: High proficiency with CRM tools, virtual calling platforms, and Microsoft Office, etc. 

· Drive: Self-motivated, resilient, and target driven. You view “no” as just a step closer to “yes.” 

· Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Location: Virtual / Remote | United States

Travel: Minimal travel required; occasional travel may be required for team meetings, training, dealer events or other business activities.
