Expert Manual QA Engineer

Ciklum is looking for an Expert Manual QA Engineer to join our team full-time in Slovakia.

About the role:

As an Expert Manual QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. The Test Manager is a key member of the project team, responsible for managing the end-to-end testing process within the Test Delivery Process (TDP) framework and ensuring the product is ready for a successful launch. This role owns the project Test Strategy and Test Plan, prepares the testing scope, and drives visibility, coordination, and continuous improvement across testing activities. The Test Manager acts as the primary point of contact for testing status and works proactively and independently to ensure testing runs smoothly across all involved teams.

Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain the project Test Strategy and Test Plan
• Prepare and define the testing scope in alignment with project requirements
• Plan testing activities together with relevant teams and coordinate their execution
• Collect and consolidate test results and data from all involved teams
• Communicate with cross-functional teams regarding testing plans, activities, and scheduling
• Maintain up-to-date testing progress in the designated tool(s)
• Communicate testing status to the Technical Project Manager (TPM) and provide regular updates
• Provide a resolution (Go/No-Go) at each stage of the TDP process
• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes within the team

Requirements:

• Ensure a fully integrated testing approach across all project workstreams
• Define and approve the testing scope, schedule, and execution approach throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure testing progress and status are transparent, accurate, and communicated in a timely manner to relevant stakeholders
• Act proactively and self-sufficiently, identifying and addressing issues before they escalate
• Support the delivery of products that meet business requirements and provide a reliable end-user experience

The salary starts at 2900 Eur gross. The final salary depends on the previous experience and professional knowledge of the candidate.
