Job description

The team

Our SAP practice helps clients transform complex business processes through SAP S/4HANA solutions designed to deliver measurable business value. As a leading SAP Global Services Partner, Hitachi Digital Services brings deep experience across industries including discrete manufacturing, consumer products, chemicals, wholesale distribution, aerospace, and defense. Our teams work collaboratively across functional and technical disciplines, combining SAP best practices, industry knowledge, and implementation expertise. You will join a highly collaborative consulting environment where strong client relationships, quality delivery, communication, and successful business transformation are central to how we work.

The role

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Sales & Customer Fulfillment Lead Architect to lead solution design across the Order-to-Cash lifecycle. You will partner with clients to gather business requirements, define SAP S/4HANA solution architecture, evaluate and prototype solution options, configure functionality, support testing, resolve defects, and enable successful deployment. You will provide leadership across onsite and offshore teams, guide key design decisions, and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle. This is a national role, and candidates may be based anywhere in the United States; however, candidates located in Ohio, particularly the Columbus metropolitan area, are strongly preferred. Significant U.S. client travel is required.

What you’ll bring

  • 10–15 years of SAP experience with significant SAP S/4HANA Sales and Distribution/Order-to-Cash expertise.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Sales Org Structure, quotations, contracts, sales master data, pricing, sales orders, Available-to-Promise, delivery, shipping, and billing.
  • Experience supporting multiple sales channels, including eCommerce and EDI.
  • Experience integrating SAP SD with other SAP logistics modules and using Fiori applications supporting Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or architecting multiple full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, preferably version 1709 or higher.
  • Strong business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live support experience.
  • Prior consulting experience with demonstrated ability to build client relationships and present SAP solutions to stakeholders.
  • Experience leading teams that include U.S.-based and offshore resources.
  • Bachelor’s degree and ability to travel approximately 80% throughout the United States.
  • SAP S/4HANA certification is recommended, but not required.
