Primary Purpose

We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow our LinkedIn presence across multiple brand channels while supporting broader digital marketing initiatives. This role builds on foundational social media experience and focuses on content execution, performance analysis, and campaign support in a fast-paced, global environment.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and content creator who can combine creativity with data-driven insights, including competitor and platform research, to continuously improve performance.

Responsibilities:
  • LinkedIn Management & Content Execution

    • Own day-to-day management of LinkedIn across multiple brand pages (Emmes Group, Emmes, OptymEdge, VaxTrials, Veridix)
    • Plan, schedule, and publish content aligned with campaign priorities and business goals
    • Draft and refine post copy, ensuring consistency in tone, messaging, and quality
    • Optimize content for engagement, reach, and visibility (including hashtags and formatting)

    Content Creation & Creative Support

    • Develop and format social graphics (carousels, infographics, simple video) aligned with brand guidelines
    • Partner with internal teams to translate complex clinical, scientific, or technical topics into accessible content

    Analytics & Research

    • Track and report on performance metrics (engagement, impressions, follower growth) with clear insights and recommendations
    • Conduct ongoing competitor and LinkedIn research to identify trends, content opportunities, and best practices
    • Use data to refine content strategy and improve performance over time

    Campaign & Marketing Support

    • Support execution of integrated marketing campaigns across social and digital channels
    • Assist with webinar promotion (pre-, during, and post-event content)
    • Support light website updates (e.g., news posts, blogs, campaign pages)
    • Provide support for other channels and ad hoc marketing initiatives as needed

    Engagement & Coordination

    • Monitor social channels for comments and messages; respond or escalate appropriately
    • Coordinate with global stakeholders across teams and time zones

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 0–2 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or communications (internship experience applicable)
  • Strong writing and editing skills for professional/B2B audiences
  • Experience managing or contributing to LinkedIn content
  • Proficiency in Canva (or similar design tools); basic video editing a plus
  • Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate into actionable insights
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in healthcare, biotech, CRO, or life sciences industries(prefered)
  • Basic CMS experience (e.g., WordPress)(prefered)
