Job Description

  • Supervise daily logistics and transportation activities for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, transporters, and customs brokers.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and ensure on-time dispatch and receipt of materials.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, customs regulations, and local laws.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Procurement teams to align deliveries and inventory availability.
  • Review and approve logistics documentation including delivery notes, shipping documents, and invoices.
  • Monitor logistics costs and support cost optimization initiatives.
  • Resolve logistics issues such as delays, damages, or delivery discrepancies.
  • Supervise logistics coordinators and drivers, assign duties, and monitor performance.
  • Maintain accurate logistics records and reports for audits and management review.
  • Support tendering and evaluation of logistics service providers.
  • Enforce health, safety, and security standards across logistics operations.
  • familiar With Moana - FASAH - SABER - Customs - industrial security for DG items

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management
  • Proven supervisory experience in managing logistics teams and operations
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, international shipping procedures, and logistics documentation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills highly desirable
