Job description

The Finance team plays a crucial role in maintaining Veriff's financial health and stability. We leverage strategic decision-making to drive growth while building innovative financial solutions that align with our mission of making the internet safer. As a member of the Finance team, you will help support our data-driven culture by playing a prominent part in our accounting processes. Your positivity, knowledge in accounting, and "can-do" attitude will help resolve complex challenges in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

You’ll help us protect honest people online by:

  • Collaborating with the Senior Revenue Accountant to ensure timely billing and accurate revenue recognition
  • Taking ownership of the ‘Sales to Cash’ process - generating and distributing invoices and matching incoming bank payments
  • Management of Accounts Receivable through communication with internal stakeholders and customers, along with the resolution of issues arising during this process;
  • Credit control activities, including structured follow-ups on outstanding balances
  • Periodic reporting on accounts receivable management
  • Periodic Bank Reconciliation and Accounts Reconciliation
  • Processing and reviewing purchase invoices, card payment transactions, and expense reports, and routing them for approval
  • Supporting month-end closing procedures and ad-hoc finance projects
  • Respond to any queries that may arise accordingly; this will mean resolving discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information before coming to any decision.

  • 2+ years of experience in finance/accounting (or are a final-year accounting student)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills
  • Understanding different aspects of accounting rules and regulations
  • A detail-oriented mindset, while also having generalization skills
  • A “can-do” attitude, with the ability to prioritize and deliver
  • Brings solutions and recommendations along with the problems and issues they find.
  • A collaborative team spirit, paired with the ability to work independently

You’re an especially awesome match if you have:

  • Worked in a multinational team before
  • Experience with AR / AP processes
