Job description

Are you ready to lead impactful Salesforce consulting engagements that drive real results for clients? At Sercante, we don’t just manage projects - we build trusted partnerships and deliver seamless multi-cloud solutions. As a Project Manager, you will bring project discipline, financial rigor, and proactive communication to guide cross-functional technical teams and ensure every engagement lands on time, within scope, and on budget.

What You Bring

● Proven Consulting Track Record: 5-7+ years of project management experience in professional services or technology consulting (with 2+ years leading Salesforce or tech delivery engagements).
● Financial & PSA Proficiency: Hands-on experience managing project budgets, forecasting, burn rates, and resource planning using Certinia (FinancialForce) PSA or a similar platform.
● Contract & Scope Management: Demonstrated capability managing diverse contract models (Support Blocks, Retainers, T&M, and Fixed-Fee) while proactively handling scope changes and risks.
● Salesforce Ecosystem Familiarity: Strong understanding of Salesforce delivery environments (at least one Salesforce certification is strongly preferred).
● Exceptional Communication: Proven ability to act as the primary client contact, manage expectations, and comfortably navigate complex or challenging conversations.
● Methodology Expertise: Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies (PMP, CSM, or similar certification is a plus).

A Day-in-the-Life

● Own Multi-Project (End-to-End) Delivery: Lead multiple concurrent Salesforce engagements from kickoff through QA, UAT, go-live, and closeout.
● Drive Financial & Project Health: Monitor burn rates, track remaining hours, and maintain precise budgets, forecasts, and resource plans in Certinia.
● Guide Client Relationships: Serve as the main day-to-day point of contact for clients, setting expectations around milestones, priorities, and delivery outcomes.
● Collaborate & Orchestrate: Partner with cross-functional technical delivery teams and Resource Management to coordinate staffing, resolve dependencies, and optimize capacity.
● Mitigate Risks & Elevate Quality: Proactively identify delivery roadblocks, negotiate scope adjustments, and ensure all documentation and governance artifacts meet high QA standards.

What Success Looks Like

● In your first 90 days: You have taken ownership of your assigned Salesforce engagements, built strong working relationships with clients and internal technical teams, and established accurate forecasting in Certinia.
● By Month 6: You are consistently hitting your 80% billable utilization target while managing concurrent projects across varied contract types with minimal variance in timeline and budget.
● By Year 1: Successfully deliver a portfolio of Salesforce engagements on time and within budget, maintain strong client relationships and satisfaction, and contribute to measurable improvements in delivery processes and project operations.

How You’ll Do It

Because how we do things matters just as much as what we do at Sercante, our Leadership Principles should act as a compass directing the everyday behavior of every teammate across the organization:

● Growth Obsessed. For our business, our clients, and ourselves.
● Business is Personal. Cultivate relationships. Make space for connection. Care about each other.
● Strategy Without Execution Is Just Dreaming. Hope is not a strategy. Vision matters—so does execution.
● Be One Team. No lone wolves. Have each other’s back and help each other out.
● Raise The Bar. Good is the enemy of great. Better never stops. Be a Difference-Maker.
● Confusion Is a Choice. Stay curious—Seek to understand. Share context—seek to be understood.
● The Journey Matters. Meaningful work takes time. Be patient. Think: the next 90 days and the next 10 years.
● Create Client Value. Become irreplaceable.
● Lighten-Up. Humor and laughter deepen bonds.
● Tighten-Up. Focus, discipline, and rigor count.
● You Have the Ball. Be accountable. Take action. Go the distance.
● Run Towards Problems. We don’t sweep things under the rug. Symptoms signal deeper causes. Find the root.
● Have the Hard Conversation. Be direct and empathetic. Speak the truth, kindly. Feedback is a gift.
● Celebrate Results. Make recognizing greatness a habit.
● Think “We” Not “Me.” Prioritize what’s best for the business, the team, and the journey

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $115,000–$140,000, based on a good‑faith estimate at the time of posting.
