JobType: full-time

We are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in custom WordPress development. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently developing and maintaining custom themes and plugins, managing production WordPress environments, and delivering responsive, secure, and high-performance websites.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Independently manage live/production WordPress environments.
  • Take ownership of WordPress architecture, technical decisions, performance, and security.
  • Convert UI designs, layouts, and wireframes into responsive WordPress websites.
  • Work with PHP, WordPress Core, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.
  • Debug and resolve issues using browser developer tools such as Chrome Inspector.
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
  • Collaborate with designers, backend teams, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time.
  • Use Git and standard version-control practices.

Required:

  • 8+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience.
  • Strong PHP and WordPress Core knowledge.
  • Strong experience with custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Experience independently managing production WordPress systems.
  • Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.
  • Experience with Elementor and/or WPBakery.
  • Exposure to AWS or cloud environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with healthcare, hospital, pharma, or clinical websites.
  • Experience with WordPress multisite or multilingual implementations.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with performance optimization, caching, and WordPress security.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
