About Our Family

We are a busy household with young children and a family dog. Both parents work from home, and we have a lot of family support for the kids, so the home environment is active during the day but we value calm, order, and a sense of ease behind the scenes.

We’re laid-back, positive, and respectful; we appreciate a tidy space, thoughtful organization, and meals that are prepared without stress. We value warmth, humor, and trust, and we hope to find someone who feels comfortable in our home and enjoys being part of a collaborative, supportive environment. Finding the right long-term fit truly matters to us. Ultimately, we are looking for a partner who helps everything run more smoothly so we can focus more fully on family time.

Who You Are / What We’re Looking For

You are organized in your bones. You naturally reset a space when you walk through it. You see what needs to be done and take ownership without waiting to be asked. Once you understand expectations, you run with your responsibilities confidently and efficiently.

At the same time, you are warm, kind, and easy to be around. You are laid-back but outcome-oriented. You are positive, trustworthy, dependable, and comfortable working in a home where parents are present. You understand professional boundaries while still bringing a sunny, caring presence into the space.

Meal preparation is an important part of this role, so you are comfortable planning and preparing simple, healthy dinners that align with dietary preferences. You are confident preparing gluten-free, plant-forward meals; you take pride in putting thoughtful meals on the table and helping remove stress around dinnertime.

You are comfortable around young children and enjoy being in a home with kids present, offering occasional light support as needed. You are also at ease with pets and happy to work in a household with a dog.

You like systems. You like finishing what you start. You take pride in folded laundry stacks, a clean kitchen, and a well-organized pantry. You are flexible as family needs evolve and open to growing with the role over time.
