The SPM  is responsible for leading successful end-to-end delivery of complex client programs, ensuring exceptional execution from project initiation through final delivery.

This role requires an experienced delivery leader who operates with a high degree of autonomy, demonstrates sound judgment in complex environments, and consistently delivers predictable outcomes across multiple workstreams. The Sr. PM serves as the primary client partner for assigned programs, balancing client expectations, cross-functional collaboration, governance, and operational excellence while maintaining accountability for quality, schedule, scope, and delivery performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

Client Delivery Leadership

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of low to high-complexity projects and programs across multiple products, workstreams, regions, and/or markets.

  • Establish and execute delivery strategies that ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes aligned with client and business objectives.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource forecasts, and delivery roadmaps.

  • Drive flawless execution by proactively managing scope, timelines, quality, risks, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Maintain accountability for delivery performance, ensuring commitments are met with consistency and operational rigor.

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day client delivery partner, fostering confidence through transparent communication, responsiveness, and dependable execution.

  • Lead project governance meetings, delivery reviews, status communications, and planning discussions with internal and client stakeholders.

Delivery Governance & Operational Excellence

  • Ensure delivery activities consistently align with established governance standards, operational processes, and A9Z best practices.

  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting across project management platforms, governance forums, leadership reviews, and executive dashboards.

  • Oversee project pacing, milestone achievement, timeline health, TOS compliance, delivery reporting, and project documentation.

  • Drive accountability for reporting accuracy, project health, documentation quality, and operational compliance across assigned initiatives.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, governance maturity, and execution consistency.

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Proactively identify delivery risks, dependencies, and constraints, implementing mitigation strategies before issues impact delivery.

  • Navigate evolving priorities, ambiguous requirements, and competing stakeholder interests while maintaining delivery momentum.

  • Escalate decisions impacting scope, budget, timelines, or strategic priorities with clear recommendations and supporting rationale.

  • Develop and recommend practical delivery solutions, including:

  • Project phasing and sequencing

  • Scope optimization and change management

  • Investment and timeline trade-off recommendations

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across creative, strategy, production, operations, technology, and client organizations.

  • Effectively balance multiple concurrent programs while maintaining consistent execution quality across all engagements.

  • Serve as a stabilizing leadership presence during periods of organizational change, delivery uncertainty, or shifting priorities.

  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and alignment across geographically distributed teams and functional disciplines.

Delivery Planning & Execution

  • Define and continuously refine delivery approaches across assigned programs and portfolios.

  • Drive planning activities, dependency management, milestone sequencing, execution readiness, and delivery forecasting.

  • Partner closely with Delivery and Account Leadership on:

  • Delivery strategy

  • Change control

  • Project sequencing

  • Delivery recovery planning

  • Risk mitigation strategies

  • Influence commercial discussions through delivery expertise while recognizing commercial approvals remain with leadership.

Success Measures:

A successful candidate consistently demonstrates the ability to:

  • Operate independently with minimal direction while exercising sound professional judgment.

  • Navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and changing business needs without compromising delivery quality.

  • Anticipate risks, resolve complex delivery challenges, and make informed decisions with confidence.

  • Build credibility and trust with clients, partners, and executive stakeholders through consistent execution.

  • Manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

  • Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority and drive alignment toward shared outcomes.

  • Maintain composure, professionalism, and accountability in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

  • Raise the performance of those around them through mentorship, collaboration, and operational leadership.

Required Experience:

  • 7–10+ years of experience leading complex client delivery, program management, or project management initiatives within a creative agency, consulting, enterprise marketing, technology, or digital delivery environment.
