Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Manager Consultant to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of projects and programmes within the Programmes & Advisory team.


This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring projects are well planned, effectively managed, accurately tracked, and clearly reported. The successful candidate will help manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, actions, and stakeholder communications to support predictable and successful project delivery.


Acting as a central point of coordination within the Programmes & Advisory team, the Project Manager Consultant will take ownership of day-to-day project administration, scheduling, reporting, documentation, and follow-up. By managing these operational aspects, the role enables project leads and team members to remain focused on technical delivery and client outcomes.


The role will also contribute to strengthening project governance, improving delivery predictability, and embedding consistent project management practices across the team, while supporting effective management of resources, timelines, and budgets.


This position provides exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects and programmes and offers opportunities to further develop project management, governance, stakeholder management, and operational leadership capabilities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong governance discipline, and the confidence to proactively drive progress, follow up on commitments, challenge assumptions where appropriate, and promote accountability across workstreams.


Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills are essential to success in this role.


This role will initially be office-based in Limerick, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple projects and programmes, working closely with project leads and team members to ensure effective and efficient delivery.
  • Develop, maintain, and update project plans, schedules, trackers, and supporting documentation to enable predictable and well-managed execution.
  • Monitor project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, timelines, and actions, proactively following up with relevant stakeholders to maintain progress.
  • Prepare and manage regular project status reporting, including updates on milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and actions.
  • Act as a central point of coordination for routine project administration, including meeting scheduling, agenda preparation, meeting documentation, action tracking, and project communications.
  • Support project governance activities, including preparation and coordination for weekly project reviews and monthly governance or steering meetings.
  • Maintain project documentation and records to ensure information is accurate, current, organised, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the identification, tracking, escalation, and resolution of project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Provide scheduling, management, and reporting support for training activities delivered as part of our programmes, ensuring smooth delivery and clear communication with participants and stakeholders.
  • Support project leads with resource, timeline, and budget tracking as required.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal teams, senior stakeholders, clients, and other project participants.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices by supporting consistent ways of working, templates, tools, processes, and standards across teams.


Qualifications & Experience

  • An Honours Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant Business, Engineering, Scientific, or related discipline.
  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a project management, PMO, or similar project delivery role.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting projects involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, defined timelines, and budgets.
  • Experience preparing project plans, status reports, action trackers, risk and issue logs, or other project governance documentation.
  • Experience working in a client-facing, consulting, professional services, technical, or programme delivery environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience in Marketing with be advantageous.

  • Excellent organisational, planning, coordination, and administrative skills, with a structured and proactive approach to work.
  • Strong project tracking and follow-up skills, with the confidence to drive actions through to completion and hold stakeholders accountable for agreed commitments.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities concurrently.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong commitment to accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify potential risks, issues, or delays and escalate them appropriately.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgement while collaborating effectively across teams and functions.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.


Additional Requirements

  • The successful candidate must be able to work onsite in Limerick, Ireland.
  • Candidates must have the right to work in Ireland for the duration of the contract.
  • Must be open to occasional travel as required by project or client needs.
