Ocean Visions is a nonprofit conservation organization pursuing bold solutions to counter and reverse climate impacts on ocean health. Working with a global network of partners, we explore, evaluate, and advance innovations to address climate-driven harm to the ocean. We work on system-level challenges where solutions are least developed, most complex, or politically difficult—but potentially transformative. Our work is grounded in robust science, and we continually seek to improve our understanding of the complexity of the challenges to the ocean posed by climate change.

THE OPPORTUNITY
Ocean Visions seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Director of Finance and Administration to join our team and manage the administrative, grants management, and financial functions and systems that underpin our operations and enable our mission. This role is critical to the effective functioning of the organization and will work closely with the CEO, staff and our external finance and HR partners.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior professional who wants to be part of a mission-driven organization, work with a highly motivated team in a collaborative, virtual environment, and is skilled at building and ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of the systems that support our mission-driven work. We are seeking a “can-do” collaborator who is willing to take on a wide range of responsibilities and can contribute across the many dimensions of our work.

QUALIFICATIONS
Location, Hours, and Travel
This is a regular full-time remote position. Applicants must be U.S.-based, legally authorized to work in the U.S., and available to work standard business hours of a continental U.S. time zone.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000, commensurate with the candidate’s specific skills, years of experience, and background. Salary ranges at Ocean Visions are determined through market analysis updated annually to ensure that Ocean Visions remains competitive and equitable.
