Joining ING as an NFR Specialist in WB Lending

At ING, our purpose is to empower people to stay a step ahead in life and in business. We believe sustainable progress is driven by people with the imagination and determination to build a better future—for themselves and for those around them.

As an NFR Specialist, you will help keep WB Lending compliant, control-minded, and risk-aware—supporting teams to identify, assess, and mitigate non-financial risks in a pragmatic way.

The Lending Tribe

You will work in the Lending Tribe – Operational Design and Risk Assurance department, part of ING’s Wholesale Banking Lending organisation. The opportunity

As a Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Specialist, you will contribute to the design, preparation, and coordination of key NFR initiatives. You will challenge, advise, and support stakeholders in identifying, analysing, and mitigating non-financial risks within and beyond WB Lending—while raising NFR awareness across the business line. You will help ensure we remain compliant and operate within our risk appetite.

  • Ensure audit-ready documentation and traceability of decisions.

  • Drive continuous improvement of the PARP process.
