About the position:

The Clinical Education – Preceptor Sourcing Coordinator is responsible for building and expanding AMO's national clinical network by identifying, engaging, and developing partnerships with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and healthcare organizations that support clinical education programs.

This is a highly results-driven role designed for professionals who already possess a strong foundation in clinical education, healthcare recruitment, provider relations, clinical coordination, or credentialing and are motivated to make an immediate impact. While AMO provides training on our systems, processes, and platform, successful candidates bring industry knowledge, professional judgment, and the confidence to quickly operate with a high level of independence. This role is remote, but the Clinical Education – Preceptor Sourcing Coordinator is expected to collaborate with teammates virtually on a regular basis to ensure team goals are met and recruited leads successfully transition into active clinical training sites and preceptor partnerships. The company also maintains an office in Chicago that the Coordinator may utilize on an as-needed basis.

The Clinical Education – Preceptor Sourcing Coordinator owns a strategic recruitment pipeline from initial outreach through onboarding readiness, balancing relationship-building with measurable business outcomes. Success in this role is driven by thoughtful execution—not simply outreach volume. High performers know how to prioritize opportunities, build trusted relationships, and consistently convert conversations into long-term clinical partnerships that support AMO's continued growth.

This position is best suited for professionals who thrive in an environment built on ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Individuals who enjoy solving problems, thinking strategically, and delivering measurable results will excel in this role.

While this position can be fully remote, we are looking for candidates to be residents of Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, New York, Ohio, or Texas.

Essential Functions:

  • Build and expand AMO's clinical network by identifying, engaging, and recruiting physicians, PAs, NPs, and clinical training sites through strategic outreach utilizing email, phone, video, social media, and other communication channels
  • Own a high-volume recruitment pipeline from prospecting through onboarding readiness, prioritizing opportunities effectively while consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly performance expectations
  • Leverage HubSpot and other tech tools to build, prioritize, and manage a strategic outreach pipeline while maintaining accurate documentation, reporting pipeline health, and using data to drive recruitment strategy
  • Apply working knowledge of provider types (MD, DO, PA, NP), clinical specialties, and credentialing requirements—including licensure, board certification, Nursys, NCCPA, and related verification processes—to efficiently qualify prospective partners
  • Educate physicians, advanced practice providers, and healthcare organizations on the value of partnering with AMO to support the next generation of healthcare professionals
  • Guide prospective partners from initial outreach through onboarding readiness while following documented SOPs, maintaining exceptional attention to detail, and exercising sound judgment to resolve issues independently
  • Negotiate educational stipends, collect required contractual and credentialing documentation, and ensure complete, accurate handoffs to internal teams
  • Collaborate closely with Partnerships, Operations, and cross-functional teams to meet school partner needs and placement timelines
  • Communicate professionally and proactively with both external partners and internal stakeholders, leveraging professional networks such as LinkedIn, while ensuring timely follow-up and exceptional customer experience
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment strategies, outreach effectiveness, and internal processes while maintaining consistency with established workflows
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills, Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical education, healthcare recruitment, provider relations, clinical coordination, credentialing, or a related healthcare field strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding either KPIs, quotas, or performance metrics in a goal-oriented environment, or deadlines in a clinical education environment
  • Experience working with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and/or healthcare organizations preferred
  • Strong understanding of provider credentialing processes, including licensure verification, board certification, Nursys, NCCPA, and related healthcare documentation
  • Experience managing CRM-based recruitment or business development pipelines; HubSpot experience strongly preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence healthcare professionals, navigate objections, and build long-term professional relationships. Comfortable with utilizing professional networks and social presence (LinkedIn) to generate opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and consistently execute documented processes while exercising sound judgment and independent decision-making
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize competing initiatives, adapt to changing placement needs, and maintain urgency without sacrificing accuracy
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, and ownership with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced, growth-oriented environment where individual performance directly contributes to team success

What You Gain:

  • Competitive base salary of $65,000 to $75,000 annually, and bonus structure tied to the achievement of KPIs and revenue goals.
  • Comprehensive Benefits Program: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Tax Exempt Student Loan Repayment, and Commuter Benefits
