We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of International Growth Middle East to lead our commercial expansion strategy for Oura into global markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in market entry, localization, and scaling revenue across diverse geographies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of enterprise growth experience along with a track record of driving growth for tech products in new markets.

The ideal candidate has both a deep leadership experience in establishing new partnerships and growing accounts/markets over time. Given Oura’s more recent international expansion, no job is too big or too small.

In past roles, you’ve demonstrated an ability to think strategically about business challenges, and are able to build and convey compelling plans and actions that inspire across the organisation, especially in a changing international context. You thrive when solving complex and ambiguous problems, are comfortable challenging the status quo and have a proven track record of managing large programs day-to-day. You are able to identify and communicate a clear vision to a diverse group of stakeholders and drive ideas to completion, inspiring co-workers and partners along the way. You have a history of setting up successful strategies to over-achieve targets.

This role will be located in the Dubai, UAE.

What you will do:

  • Strategic Targeting
    • Provide an analysis of product/market fit of current programs in focus Middle East markets 
    • Recommend changes, improvements or doubling down
    • Drive and operationalise growth in identified market spaces, from external partners to internal systems
  • Partner Relationship Management:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners, with the ability to serve 10-20 simultaneous accounts with varying needs.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, addressing their inquiries and concerns.
    • Regularly and proactively communicate with partners to assess their needs and align them with company offerings.

  • Account Management:
    • Understand partners' and customers’ businesses, objectives, and challenges.
    • Create, develop and implement account plans to maximise partner success and revenue generation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on partner commitments.

  • Product and Service Knowledge:
    • Become an expert of all Oura products and services, as well as all Oura product deployments, to effectively assist customers with their needs and provide relevant solutions, often proactively surfacing new features or tools that will grow or enhance their business.
    • Educate partners on new offerings, features, and opportunities that align with their needs.

  • Performance Analysis:
    • Monitor and report on partner performance and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Identify areas for improvement and work with partners to develop action plans.
    • Identify and source out new metrics to best represent the business of a partner or customer with ŌURA
    • Ensure all partners hit or exceed their targets

  • Issue Resolution:
    • Proactively address and resolve partner issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
    • For new partners with new operational needs, create solutions with cross-functional partners, gain alignment and bring the partner along on the solution as it grows over time

  • Data and Reporting:
    • Gather and analyse data related to partner performance and engagement.
    • Prepare reports and present findings to internal stakeholders and partners.
    • Identify where there are data gaps and source solutions

  • Other projects and responsibilities as required.

We would love to have you on our team, if you have:

  • 15+ years of experience in outbound corporate or enterprise sales/ business development
  • Highly commercial experience with the “can do” attitude and ability to build & scale our regional partnerships ground up. 
  • A strong network of contacts in the ME and GCC region would be considered an asset
  • Experience working with healthcare, insurance, and reimbursement would be considered a strong asset
  • Senior stakeholder management and engagement. Ability to represent Oura in key executive conversations at a Commercial level 
  • Strong history of growing accounts from small to a large enterprise customer
  • A strong entrepreneurial bent
  • You’re a shrewd written and verbal communicator, lead meetings with program stakeholders efficiently, and bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, positive, solution-oriented, and easy-going.
  • An unyielding commitment to the quality of your work, with an ability to to achieve precise and measurable results with your  efforts.
  • A strong command of all major languages spoken in your region would be considered an asset
  • A strong network of contacts in your country would be considered an asset
  • Ideally bilingual: Fluency  in Arabic and English
  • The ability to travel up to 50%  of the time would be considered an asset
