Job description

About the Role

Hi, I'm Karen Salmon, the U.S. Insurance Lead here at Jane. I've been with Jane for over two years and lead a small but mighty team supporting U.S.-based clinics through the real, day-to-day complexities of insurance billing.

Our work is all about helping clinics get paid accurately and on time. We collaborate closely with payers, internal teams, and clinic staff to remove friction, clarify processes, and advocate for our customers. We're also directly involved in shaping how Jane builds and improves its U.S. billing tools and services.

This role is a first for us. You'll be building Jane's very first credentialing service from the ground up, starting with our Billing Service customers, with a broader offering likely down the road. If you love digging into a hard problem, building something from zero, and helping it grow into something real, this is that opportunity.

What Impact We're Looking For You To Make

  • Build the foundation for credentialing at Jane, designing and launching our first centralized credentialing framework from scratch.

  • Select and implement a scalable credentialing software platform that fits seamlessly into how our teams already work.

  • Cultivate strong, lasting vendor partnerships that keep our tools evolving alongside our needs.

  • Champion rigorous verification and compliance protocols that protect Jane and our customers from risk.

  • Partner across legal, IT, and clinical teams to keep credentialing work aligned, transparent, and moving forward.

What Experience We Need

  • 5+ years of experience in credentialing management, ideally within healthcare or a related regulated industry.

  • Deep credentialing-specific expertise, including provider enrollment, payer requirements, and re-credentialing cycles.

  • Hands-on experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing credentialing software platforms.

  • Strong compliance knowledge, with an eye for building verification protocols that hold up to audit scrutiny.

  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills, with experience partnering across legal, IT, and operational teams to get things done.

If you don't meet every single qualification but are excited about this role, we'd still love to hear from you.

Compensation & Benefits

Jane’s committed to paying our team members fairly, clearly, and above all, paying for growth. At Jane, we offer flexible benefits options that includes a range of health, dental, and vision plans, with a 100% employer-paid option. Employees have access to income protection through life insurance and disability coverage, and can choose between an FSA or HSA (with the high deductible plan option) for medical expenses.
