About the role

As a Product Designer, you’ll play a pivotal role in crafting world-class financial experiences that are user-friendly, visually stunning, and highly functional. You will work cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and researchers to design intuitive interfaces that drive user engagement and business growth. Your work will directly impact millions of users, from first-time digital banking customers to seasoned fintech enthusiasts.

  • Balance aesthetics with data-driven insights to optimise UX for engagement and conversion.
  • Advocate for accessibility (A11y) and inclusive design principles.
  •  Stay updated on fintech trends and best practices to drive innovation in product design.

What you need to succeed

  • Strong grasp of visual design, typography, grids, layout, and colour theory.
  • Expertise in interaction design, user flows, wireframing, and prototyping.
  • Deep understanding of designing for both mobile and web platforms, ensuring responsive and adaptive experiences.
  • Understanding of behavioural psychology and its impact on user decisions.
  • Experience conducting usability tests, user interviews, and heuristic evaluations.
  • Ability to synthesise qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable design decisions.
  • Proficiency in atomic design principles and scalable UI frameworks.
  • Knowledge of motion design tools (Lottie, After Effects, Principle) to create micro-interactions.
  • Ability to communicate design rationale to stakeholders and engineers.
  • Experience working in agile, fast-paced product teams.
  • Figma mastery: ability to leverage auto layout, design tokens, component variants, interactive prototypes, and design libraries for scalable UI solutions.
  • Experience in fintech and/or SaaS environments, understanding industry-specific challenges and user expectations.

  • Preliminary phone call with the recruiter: a brief conversation to discuss your background, interests, and expectations.
