Artemis is seeking a full-time Web Content Specialist to support the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA) Office of Research, Development, and Technology (RD&T) at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC) by writing, editing, and maintaining content for FHWA and RD&T websites, SharePoint sites, and Google Sites pages. This role uses content management systems to upload, organize, and post web content; ensures pages The Web Content Specialist current, accessible, and compliant with federal style and accessibility standards; and delivers training to staff on web and database tools.
The Web Content Specialist role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver and action-oriented team player with previous experience in web content management and government digital communications. This position needs an individual that is committed to providing superior service, poised under pressure and has a positive and flexible attitude.
This is a contingent hire position. Offers will be contingent upon client approval, ability to meet security requirements, and the ability to adhere to any on-site requirements (which may change at contract award).
Remote work is anticipated. However, occasional travel for client engagements may be required.
