About the Role:
We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test Apprentice to join our Quality Engineering function for a structured 12-month apprenticeship. This full-time apprenticeship is designed for someone who wants to build a strong foundation for a career in software engineering.

Apprentices will work on real testing and automation initiatives that directly contribute to product quality, supported by mentorship, technical guidance, and structured learning throughout the programme. They will work alongside experienced SDETs and software engineers while developing practical knowledge of automation frameworks, API testing, defect analysis, CI/CD processes, and software quality practices.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Understand product requirements, develop relevant test scenarios, and validate product features, APIs, and workflows before deployment to production
  • Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, and integration) using modern testing frameworks
  • Triage defects, reproduce reported issues, and perform root-cause analysis to support timely resolution and prevent recurrence
  • Contribute to internal tools and frameworks that improve team-wide test efficiency
  • Leverage AI to improve test coverage and productivity resulting in faster production deployments

  • Requirements:
  • Recent engineering graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of data structures and hand on experience with at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Prior internship experience in a software engineering role, such as software development or software testing

  • Nice to Have:
  • Good knowledge of Git and CI/CD
  • Hands on working experience in API testing (REST/GraphQL)
