Job Description

The Associate Program Analyst is responsible for providing project coordination and administrative support to one or more of Prime's functional areas: Clinical Program Management, Utilization Management (UM), Formulary, GuidedHealth, Pharmaceutical Trade Relations, Pharmacy Audit, Clinical Operations and/or Specialty Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the coordination, project management and implementation of internal and/or client-facing initiatives, which may include: Quarterly Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee (P&T) coordination, annual formulary development and production, development and process support for Prime National and Client Utilization Management (UM) programs, review of regulatory requirements and adherence for processes related to Formulary, UM, GuidedHealth, and other programs
  • Serve as point of contact for administrative support within designated functional area including but not limited to: tracking department and program documentation, verification of information, coordinating any necessary follow up, generating and submitting regular reporting etc.
  • May support the creation of client quarterly business review presentations, internal and external communications, and the coordination of client meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED
  • 1 year of work experience in healthcare, Pharmacy Benefit Management, business process administration, project management or other related field
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to complete projects independently and within established timeframes
  • Detail oriented and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification through PTCB or ExCPT (CPhT)
  • 3 years of PBM, Managed Care or Pharmaceutical/Trade experience
  • Project Management skills
  • Knowledge or experience with formulary or utilization management

Potential pay for this position ranges from $25.48 - $40.87 based on experience and skills.
