What We Do

The Senior Project Specialist supports and leads small projects or key phases of larger initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing schedules, tracking project milestones, and ensuring successful project delivery. This role assists with project planning, risk management, budgeting, status reporting, and stakeholder communications while driving alignment with business objectives.

What You'll Do:

▪ Oversees small scale projects or phases of a larger project.
▪ Coordinates activities of project team, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project.
▪ Responsible for defining system scope and project objectives to support business needs, as well as define the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
▪ Assists in preparing project plans specifying goals, strategy, and staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, budgets, and allocation of available resources.
▪ Regularly facilitates status and milestone meetings with cross functional groups.

▪ Prepares documentation related to project, which may include training/process materials.
▪ May be required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.

▪ Tracks project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, escalating risks or delays as needed.

▪ Communicates regularly with team members and stakeholders to provide project updates and ensure alignment.

▪ Identifies opportunities to improve project processes and help implement best practices.

What You'll Bring:

▪ BS Degree in a business field or equivalent work experience; PMP certification desirable.

▪ 4-6 years of directly related experience.

▪ Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

▪ Proficiency with project management tools, reporting, and status tracking.

▪ Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and manage projects, budgets, and competing priorities.

▪ Effective meeting facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

▪ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

▪ Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams.

▪ Ability to adapt to changing business needs, resolve issues proactively, and balance both strategic initiatives and day-to-day priorities.

▪ Familiarity with current technologies and their application to project delivery and business objectives.

Pay Range: $73,900.00 - $98,500.00 Annually

 

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
