The Equipment Service Zone Service Leader – Japan is responsible for accountable for the overall financial and operational performance of the Zone, including Revenue, Operating Profit, growth targets. This position reports to the Equipment Service APAC, GM and is part of the Equipment Service Global Organization. This role will be located in Tokyo Japan working remotely to cover entire country of Japan.

What you will do: 

• Responsible for managing your Regional Zone resources to deliver best in class customer satisfaction and Service Operational effectiveness
• Own operational processes and service delivery within your region managing a range of Key Process Indicators including but not limited to : Customer DownTime, PM completion, First Time Fix, Customer Satisfaction , Applied time, FE utilization.
• Cultivate a culture of integrity and transparency, ensuring robust Field Engineer coverage and contingency planning. Uphold the highest standards of technical excellence and compliance across all field operations.
• Build & leverage relationship with internal stakeholders to enhance business performance and customer experience, cooperate closely with commercial functions to understand sales funnel for equipment in order to ensure proactive service planning
• Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with applicable EHS policies and procedures

Who you are :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related field.
• Strong leadership experience in Sales, Service or other customer facing roles, experience in technical and/or application support.
• Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams in a matrixed, multicultural environment.
• Strategic thinker with strong operational execution and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership capabilities.
• Strong commercial acumen with deal leadership experience
• Working knowledge and application of Danaher Business System (DBS) principles
• Fluent in Japanese is a MUST ; Fluent in English a plus.

• Ability to travel across Japan / APAC Regions
