Job description

Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world!

Responsibilities:

  • Regular visits to existing A & B Customers to maintain current business. Frequency of these visits will depend on specific applications and customer need, but should be every 4-6 weeks on average.
  • Continuous territory prospecting to develop new customer targets within the target market segments that will grow the overall customer base.
  • Make product recommendations for customers utilizing internal resources as needed to ensure proper information is provided to the customer. Offer additional technical assistance as required.
  • Develop, maintain and grow a Sales Opportunity Pipeline, which should include projects in all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Maintain efficient, written call reports utilizing the company CRM system that detail all customer visits and interactions Provide key weekly highlights to Regional Management each week for inclusion in the weekly sales report.
  • Ensure that the Lotus Notes calendar is updated with customer visits and travel plans for each week.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to establish the annual sales plan for the territory, providing detail as to how the territory will achieve the required growth targets each year.
  • Attend Trade Shows, Group Sales Meetings and Additional Training Opportunities as required.
  • Submit weekly expense reports
  • Special projects as assigned Perform any additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in customer facing role – direct technical sales or application engineering
  • 3-5 years in sales of lubricants, chemicals or mechanical equipment preferred.
  • Ability to travel as required for position and assigned territory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have solid computer skills including Windows, MS Office, ACT, PowerPoint and Email.
  • Self starter with effective time management and organizational skills
