Action is seeking a Community Care Specialist.

 

Fully remote/work from home. Must have a quiet designated work area and fast internet.

 

Schedule: Full-Time Monday to Friday

(Contact center is open from 7am-6pm any shift within those hours will be assigned)

 

Summary:

Provide a high level of customer service while assisting clients and vendors with maintenance requests, accounting questions, and other general questions over the phone, chat, and email daily.

 

 

What You’ll Do (Job Duties)

  • Available to receive all incoming calls while following any necessary scripts and meeting standards. 60-80 calls a day.
  • Listen to voicemails and process appropriately.
  • Assist with handling chats from residents.
  • Process incoming emails from managers, vendors, and homeowners.
  • Create work orders and relay them to vendors or managers.
  • Return all phone calls in accordance with company policy.
  • Take very detailed messages and relay the information and enter notes.
  • Communicate with managers regarding any requests needing special attention.
  • Understand and act in accordance with relevant Community Care standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform any other task, which may be necessary for the smooth operation of the management aspect of the Community Care Department.
  • Available to work all shifts within the department, between 7am-6pm PST.

Who You Are (Skills/Experience)

  • Must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a general knowledge of Microsoft Outlook as well as a general knowledge of office equipment such as their personal computer. Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer service call center environment.
  • Individual must demonstrate a high level of customer service, sound judgment, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in addition to speaking and annunciate clearly over the telephone. Must have excellent written communication skills.
  • Personable, outgoing and enthusiastic personality.  Individuals must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Constant use of a telephone and wearing a headset.
