They are a trusted advisor, exceptional storyteller, and strong operator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CMO to evolve and steward the Chartis brand, designing and executing an integrated external communications strategy that strengthens awareness, reputation, engagement, and differentiation for Chartis and its family of brands.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the brand team, providing guidance and direction to the team in the execution of public relations, social media, digital marketing, employer brand, and alumni relations.

  • Oversee the firm's digital marketing strategy, including website content and governance, paid advertising, and digital marketing, ensuring Chartis' digital presence advances brand reputation, supports business growth, and is optimized for visibility and discoverability across both traditional search and AI-powered experiences.

  • Lead the external communications and brand integration strategy for acquisitions, developing messaging, media relations plans, and communications that preserve brand equity while successfully integrating new organizations into the Chartis family of brands.

  • Partner with thought leadership and line-of-business marketing teams to ensure integrated storytelling and consistent messaging across campaigns and channels.

  • Oversee brand governance, messaging frameworks, editorial standards, and visual identity and voice across all external communications.

  • Partner closely with recruiting and internal communications to strengthen Chartis’ employer brand and ensure alignment between internal culture and external reputation.

  • Measure and report on brand health, share of voice, executive visibility, social media metrics, website traffic and discoverability, and communications effectiveness using data-driven insights.

  • Stay ahead of emerging trends in healthcare, communications, AI, and professional services marketing, bringing forward innovative ideas that strengthen the firm's visibility and market position.

Qualifications and Desired Skills

  • Demonstrated success building and evolving corporate brands that support business growth and reputation.

  • Deep expertise in executive communications, media relations, thought leadership, public relations, and integrated communications strategy.

  • Demonstrated understanding of how AI is transforming brand building and communications, including the ability to leverage AI to improve team productivity and workflows while developing content and communications strategies that strengthen brand authority and discoverability across both traditional search and emerging AI-powered platforms.

  • Outstanding writing and storytelling abilities, with experience crafting executive messaging, speeches, videos, bylined articles, and strategic narratives.

  • Experience partnering directly with senior executives and advising leaders on communications strategy and executive presence.

  • Strong understanding of brand positioning, messaging architecture, and reputation management.
