Job Description

This role ensures efficient and effective evaluation and risk management of innovation and commercialization projects. This position works closely with the business units and cross functional teams to provide successful commercialization of new products, line extensions and product renovations within the Hydration Meals and Desserts platform. This position will support project trials, innovations, renovation and maintenance covering both internal and external manufacturing facilities. Travel required 40-55%. Candidate must be able to travel independently, have the ability to drive a vehicle, and be located near a major airport.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and conduct on-site assessments for new lines, product extensions and new equipment.                                            
  • Evaluate and improve existing business tools to drive efficiency in the onboarding processes           
  • Support commercialization activities                                                   
  • Monitor, track and report corrective actions and timing of follow ups from each assessment        
  • Review copacker HACCP plans for compliance to Kraft Heinz External Manufacturers Food Safety & Quality Expectations manual                                                      
  • Communicate business risk to cross functional business partners                                                            
  • Schedule and lead Platinum Rule phone assessments
  • Communicate business risk to cross functional business partners
  • Factory, EM or Supplier Assessment (e.g., QRMP, Platinum/Golden Rules) or Audit Support

Expected Experience & Required Skills

  • Quality experience within food or CPG preferred
  • Plant quality experience in one or multiple food factories
  • Regulatory Compliance familiarity with USDA, FDA or CFIA preferred
  • Food Safety / Microbiology preferred
  • Understanding of the procurement processes
