Job description

What We Do

At GoGuardian, we’re helping build a future where all learners are ready and inspired to solve the world’s greatest challenges. Our award-winning system of learning solutions is purpose-built for K-12 and trusted by school leaders to promote effective teaching and equitable engagement while helping empower educators to keep students safe.

What It’s Like to Work at GoGuardian

We are an outcomes-focused learning company with a steadfast focus on improving learning environments, one classroom at a time. Working with us means joining a remote team of diverse, committed, mission-driven employees who are inspired by our vision, dedicated to our customers, and ready to roll up their sleeves. Guardians put their heads together to solve problems, learn together from experiments that fail, and stand together by their work with full accountability. We balance our diligence with an inclusive culture that invites everyone to bring their whole self to work. Join us and learn why “I love the people here” is one of the most frequent comments we hear from Guardians.

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Sales Coach to raise the performance of our revenue teams through hands-on, data-informed coaching. In this role, you’ll partner closely with New Business Executives (NBEs) and Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and coach the sales leaders who manage them, to sharpen selling, discovery, and expansion skills across their teams, translating sales performance data into targeted coaching that measurably moves the needle. You’ll work with sellers and leaders 1:1, in small groups, and 1:many, delivering live virtual training, coaching and support programs. You will also deliver live in-person coaching at regional sales events and Sales Kickoff.

This position sits on the Sales Enablement team and reports to the Sales Learning and Execution Lead. While the role does not carry direct reports, you’ll hold a dotted-line accountability to team performance, working shoulder-to-shoulder with front-line sales managers - coaching and developing them as leaders while partnering with them to close skill gaps and accelerate ramp across their teams. You'll work in close partnership with the Sales Learning and Execution Lead, who owns learning strategy, curriculum design, and performance diagnostics, while you own delivery, in-the-field coaching, and frontline execution. The ideal candidate has sold and supported or led high-performing teams within an EdTech environment, understands the rhythms of the K-12 sales cycle, and knows how to turn a dashboard into a development plan.

What You'll Do

  • Coach New Business Executives (NBEs) and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) 1:1, in small groups, and 1:many to strengthen prospecting, discovery, pipeline management, deal strategy, expansion, and renewal execution in alignment with company goals
  • Collaborate on individualized development plans grounded in each seller’s, or group of sellers’, performance data, rather than one-size-fits-all training
  • Deliver live virtual training and coaching that is interactive, practice-based, and tied to real deals
  • Partner with our Learning Experience designer to create and maintain async training and support, including short-form assets, playbooks, call reviews, and just-in-time resources sellers can use on demand
  • Coach and develop GoGuardian’s sales leaders and front-line managers - strengthening their coaching, pipeline inspection, and deal-review skills so they can raise performance across their own teams with accountability to team performance and accelerating ramp
  • Reinforce GoGuardian’s MEDDPICC sales methodology and solution-selling practices through repeatable, in-the-flow-of-work coaching
  • Travel occasionally to present and facilitate training at regional sales team events and Sales Kickoff (SKO)
  • Surface field insights and performance data to the Sales Learning and Execution Lead to inform coaching standards, messaging, and program iteration

Who You Are

  • Formal sales training certification from a reputable sales course
  • 3-5 years of experience leading teams
  • 5-8 years of experience in quota-carrying Sales, Account Management, or Customer Success
  • Hands-on experience delivering sales training or coaching programs (EdTech or K-12 experience strongly preferred)
  • A track record of both selling and coaching / leading high-performing sales teams to successful outcomes
  • Strong understanding of the K-12 buyer, the sales cycle, and how districts make decisions
  • Able to coach and develop sellers to measurably improved performance across 1:1, small-group, and 1:many settings
  • Able to coach and develop sales leaders and front-line managers, with the credibility to influence how they lead, inspect, and coach their own teams
  • Comfortable using sales performance data and SFDC reporting to support coaching decisions and track individual and team progress
  • Familiarity with modern sales methodologies (e.g., solution selling, MEDDIC/MEDDPICC) and enablement or coaching tooling
  • A strong facilitator and communicator across both live virtual and async formats
  • Willing to travel occasionally for regional sales events and Sales Kickoff
  • Experience coaching or leading Customer Success Managers and driving expansion, cross-sell, and renewal outcomes is a plus
  • Eager to take initiative in a fast-paced, ever-changing, dynamic environment
  • Fueled by the opportunity to truly impact the education landscape
  • Something else? Tell us! We want to learn more about you…

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay, complete health insurance, 401(k) matching, and an employee equity plan.
  • Flexible time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and a paid year-end holiday break.
  • A robust catalog of benefits that support your professional growth and personal wellbeing, including work from home funds, fertility & adoption reimbursement, and more…

Plus the intangible:

  • A varied and challenging role in an innovative, global company.
  • Supportive, driven colleagues who have your back and share your passion.
