Escopo

Role: Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer

- Starting Date: Immediately
- Contract: 12 months with extension
- Work Location: 100% remote
- Working Hours: 9h00 to 18h00 with availability to participate in an on-call rotation for critical P1 incidents when required.
- Language: English Advanced is mandatory

Job Description

• Provide Level 2 (L2) support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
• Monitor infrastructure, performance, and service availability.
• Manage incidents, requests, problems, and changes.
• Administer patches, configurations, and compliance.
• Analyze trends and identify automation opportunities.
• Continuously improve the end-user experience.
• Work jointly with global teams and the client’s technical specialists.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or corporate desktop virtualization technologies.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
• Experience in infrastructure support, troubleshooting, and incident management.
• Experience with monitoring, performance tuning, and critical environments.
• Advanced or fluent English — mandatory.
• Fluent Portuguese.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced or fluent Spanish.
• Experience with VMware Horizon, Citrix, or other VDI solutions.
• Knowledge of automation and PowerShell.
• Microsoft Azure certifications and Microsoft certifications: MD-102, AZ-104, SC-200, SC-900, and AZ-900.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust and Endpoint Security best practices.

Resume Guidelines

The resume must clearly describe the candidate’s hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop or other corporate desktop virtualization technologies, Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, infrastructure support, troubleshooting, incident management, monitoring, performance tuning, and critical environments. It must also indicate the candidate’s English and Portuguese proficiency, total years of professional experience, availability for the on-call rotation, and any relevant certifications or experience with the preferred technologies.
