Releaf

Releaf was launched in February 2024 as a HealthTech company dedicated to transforming access to Cannabis Based Products for Medical use (CBPMs) in the UK. Releaf are redefining the way medical cannabis supports treatment plans for an underserved segment of the UK population; offering an innovative, specialist approach to patient care and addressing issues such as a fragmented supply chain, poor patient acquisition strategies and a lack of clinical excellence. Releaf has made significant investments in developing a HealthTech platform to streamline access to CBPMs for patients with various health conditions. The platform was launched in February 2024, eliminating previous barriers and bringing about fundamental changes in the UK's CBPM sector. Our Leadership Team has a proven track record in navigating complex, regulated markets. Through substantial investments in time, money, and expertise, we have developed Releaf's HealthTech operating platform. This platform simplifies the intricate and makes the opaque transparent, ensuring a seamless, single online session for patients to access CBPMs for their relevant conditions. Job description

Who we are:

Releaf Dispensary Ltd is a pioneering medical cannabis clinic committed to providing high-quality, safe, and effective cannabis-based products. Headquartered in the UK, we aim to enhance the quality of life for our patients through cutting-edge solutions and outstanding patient service. We are proud to be a certified B Corp — the first medicinal cannabis clinic in the world to achieve this recognition — reflecting our commitment to the highest standards of social and environmental responsibility.

We are a fast-growing team of passionate professionals on a mission to put patients back in control of their health journey and we have seen first-hand how alternative treatments can change lives. As a part of this, we are growing our support team and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Triage Coordinator to join our team.

As a Triage Coordinator, you will serve as the crucial first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a seamless start to their healthcare journey. In this pivotal role, you will assess patient needs, guide them through the initial stages of their treatment plan, and oversee a compassionate and efficient patient onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Triage & Assessment

  • Assess medical records, referrals, and clinical evidence to determine treatment eligibility, flagging where further documentation is needed
  • Screen documentation for contraindications or underlying conditions that could affect care
  • Contact patients directly to advise on outstanding requirements and guide them through submitting additional evidence
  • Flag medication interactions, contraindications, or safety concerns to the clinical team via the triage assessment
  • Escalate complex or borderline cases to the right specialist for final review

Previous Experience:

Whilst this is a predominantly admin-based role, the ideal candidate will have previous healthcare experience and be familiar with healthcare terminology. This could be from a medical admin background or as a practitioner. You'll be working remotely, so the ability to manage your own time and work independently is essential.

We're looking for someone with extremely strong attention to detail, excellent written communication, a methodical and organised approach to managing competing priorities, and the confidence to use digital tools and systems with minimal supervision.

We're looking for someone who's excited to join a busy, growing organisation. Our team culture is built on support and respect, and we take a proactive approach to employee progression and development. The ideal candidate will be happy to roll their sleeves up and take real ownership of the role. In return, we offer flexible working, personalised training and development, private health insurance, an Employee Assistance Programme, access to employee perks, and Releaf staff patient benefits.

Work Pattern:

This is a fully remote, full time role working 37.5 hours a week across Thursday - Monday. We are proud to support flexible working and would be happy to discuss this at interview, but the role will involve irregular hours, with weekend work required.

How to apply:

Our application process starts off with an informal remote meeting followed by a written task. We are an inclusive employer and would welcome applications from a diverse range of applicants; if there is anything we can do to help support you during the interview process, please let us know.

At Releaf, we believe that diverse teams build better businesses. We're committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and able to do their best work. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences — and we're happy to make reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process if you need them. If you'd like to discuss this, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
