What the Patient and Site Solutions Enablement Project Manager does at Worldwide 

The Patient and Site Solutions Enablement Project Manager leads and drives complex interactions and oversees the successful implementation and adoption of new processes pertaining to data and technology innovation activities lead by our department. This role is influential across both internal and external stakeholders and ensures that essential development activities are delivered meeting stipulated requirements for our business processes.  The Patient and Site Solutions Enablement Project Manager leads implementation activities for new technology and processes, acting as an expert conduit between the functional SMEs, the selected vendors and our technical teams.  This role requires experienced matrix management leadership to ensure optimal collaboration with functional experts in other departments.  

The impact of the role spans our end-to-end process – starting with our ability to differentiate using feasibility to increase NBA and through a seamless, data driven and technology-enabled site selection process in awarded projects. The Patient and Site Solutions Enablement Project Manager will ensure Worldwide stakeholders gain maximal benefits from newly developed and deployed technologies.  This role will ensure the ROI expectations are achieved for the solutions the team is building and utilizing - enhancing team efficiency and improving technology adoption. As a System and process SME, the Patient and Site Solutions Enablement Project Manager will have deep knowledge of core strategy tools, systems and their associated workflow and is responsible for ensuring process optimization and training, supporting multi-stakeholder discussions and change management activities.  

The Patient and Site Solutions Enablement Project Manager must understand the end-to-end processes used by the feasibility teams and act as an expert in interactions amongst stakeholders - able to influence the team globally through good communication and organization skills.  

Strong analytical skills are a pre-requisite to the role to allow collation and presentation of performance metrics for the core activities in our department to senior leadership. 

What you will do 

  •  An experienced SME in Feasibility systems and processes – this role will drive team adoption, consistency of use and efficiency. Systems will include but are not limited to: Worldwide’s investigator survey tool, Feasibility intelligence platform, scenario modelling and reforecasting tool. 

  • Lead and engage collaboratively and effectively with multiple other internal stakeholder SMEs for other clinical system dependencies as well as with external vendors, managing relationships as well as overseeing technical activities veing delivered by vendors under contract. 

  • Organisation of data, metrics and function-specific training materials as well as creating a library of proposal-ready capabilities materials including content for our end-to-end feasibility process and technology platform and patient and site engagement solutions. 

  • Lead the development and roll-out of training & communication activities for Feasibility systems and act as a single point of escalation for issue identification and resolution 

  • Oversee, drive and enable activities connected to the development of new systems in development in conjunction with Patient and Site Solutions team leadership. Collaborate with other internal and external stakeholders during the identification, configuration, implementation, and support / maintenance of their solution(s) within the business 

  • Manage activities of external vendors in line with agreed scope, to communicate new system requirements and configurations from a business perspective and resolve issues when they arise.    

  • Successfully deliver the integration of new processes and drive innovation of our tools across the proposal and delivery processes including standalone feasibility consultancy activities. 

  • Be a core influencer and expert communicator ensuring collaboration across multiple internal stakeholder groups and facilitate effective communication internally and externally with vendors and our sponsors.  

What you will bring to the role 

  • Excellent networking skills to represent Worldwide with key stakeholders. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - able to interact with all levels of internal and external management. 

  • Excellent negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills. 

  • Self-motivated with proactive issue monitoring and management including risk assessment and contingency planning. 

  • Possess a combination of critical thinking and operational expertise and efficiency. 

  • Ability to conduct complex analyses and research, weighing priorities  

  • Ability to work at a fast pace with short timelines and minimal oversight. 

  • Ability to travel when required, no more than 10% 

  • Ability to function as part of a remote team. 

Your experience 

  • At least 7 years’ experience in feasibility or technology and enablement process roles. 

  • Experience in vendor interactions during the development of new technology systems and the change management activities associated with new technology implementation within feasibility in the clinical research industry. 

  • Preferred: Scientific Degree or clinical degree with 5+ years experience in feasibility process enablement roles.
