Quento Technologies S.A. seeks a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to support agile software development teams delivering large-scale digital transformation and information systems projects in an international environment as well as to act as a servant leader and agile coach, ensuring Scrum best practices are followed, facilitating collaboration, removing impediments, and supporting continuous improvement across one or more development teams.

Your responsibilities will entail:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including:
    • Sprint Planning
    • Daily Stand-ups
    • Sprint Reviews
    • Sprint Retrospectives
    • Backlog Refinement sessions
  • Promote Agile and Scrum best practices across development teams;
  • Support Product Owners in backlog management, prioritization, and user story definition;
  • Identify, track, and remove impediments affecting team delivery;
  • Foster self-organization, collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement;
  • Monitor sprint progress and delivery metrics using Jira;
  • Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile methodologies and ways of working;
  • Improve communication and alignment between teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors;
  • Document and continuously improve team agile processes and practices;
  • Encourage lessons learned and drive actions resulting from retrospectives;
  • Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

  • University degree (minimum 4 years of higher education) or equivalent qualification;
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience after higher education;
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments;
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum principles, events, roles, and artifacts;
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching cross-functional teams;
  • Experience with Jira, including boards, backlogs, sprint reports, and burndown charts;
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycles and delivery processes;
  • Ability to work effectively in distributed and multicultural teams.
  • Knowledge of scaled Agile frameworks and practices;
  • Experience working with external software vendors and distributed delivery teams'
  • Candidates should hold at least one recognized Agile/Scrum certification, such as:
    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
    • Professional Scrum Master (PSM I, II, or III)
    • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
    • Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM)
    • Certified Scrum Professional ScrumMaster (CSP-SM)
    • EXIN Agile Scrum Master
    • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
    • Equivalent Scrum Master certification.
