Job description

The Agentic AI initiative seeks an experienced Agentic AI Engineer to design and build an orchestration layer that shifts internal automation from workflow-based systems to agentic interactions. This role focuses on Google Agentic Orchestration, MCP-based integrations, and practical LLM integration to enable reliable agent-to-system interactions across Aon's internal applications.

This is a senior, hands-on engineering role working directly with Murali and the internal team to modernize automation for a workforce of ~60,000 employees. The position requires specialist-level experience implementing agentic orchestration and integrating agents with enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and architect a Google-based Agentic Orchestration layer across existing internal applications.
  • Develop, integrate, and test agentic orchestration capabilities using Google Agentic Orchestration.
  • Implement MCP (Model Context Protocol) connectors to enable agent-to-system communication and data exchange.
  • Integrate general LLM capabilities to support agent decision-making and interaction flows.
  • Build reliable, auditable agent interactions to replace legacy workflow automation.
  • Collaborate directly with Murali and cross-functional stakeholders to align technical design with business needs.
  • Validate and troubleshoot agent behaviors and orchestration flows in production-like environments.
  • Support transition planning and handover from incumbent vendor solutions to the new agentic model.

Requirements

  • Specialist-level hands-on experience with Google Agentic Orchestration.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating agents with enterprise systems using MCP (Model Context Protocol).
  • Practical knowledge of general LLM integration for agent behavior and orchestration.
  • Azure awareness and ability to work within an Azure-informed environment.
  • Seniority at Level 3 (Advanced) or Level 4 (Senior/Lead) with a track record of delivering complex orchestration projects.
  • Experience designing and deploying solutions that replace workflow-based automation with agentic interactions.
  • Strong debugging, testing, and validation skills for agentic systems and integrations.
  • Effective collaborator with experience working directly with senior stakeholders and technical leads.
