We at Sigma Software are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics and Pricing Optimization team. The role is senior-level, full-time, and based in Ukraine, Europe, with flexibility to collaborate with international teams.

Known for their innovative approach, they deliver solutions that combine business intelligence with cutting-edge algorithms to maximize value for clients.

PROJECT
The project involves implementing and optimizing a sophisticated pricing platform for large-scale retail operations. You’ll work on aligning platform capabilities with client needs, designing pricing experiments, and ensuring adoption through training and support.

  • Analyze business and pricing processes, identifying opportunities for optimization. 

  • Conduct business and pricing discovery; gain and maintain deep knowledge of client's business processes and needs. 

  • Analyze pricing processes and identify opportunities for optimization; recommend improvements based on best practices. 

  • Collaborate with project teams to align platform capabilities with client needs.  

  • Design and validate pricing experiments (e.g., A/B tests) with Data Scientists.  

  • Configure the pricing platform and ensure optimal setup for client requirements.  

  • Deliver user training and provide ongoing pricing support.  

  • Monitor and analyze pricing performance, sharing actionable insights.  

  • Drive user adoption and recommend strategies to maximize platform value. 

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of experience in pricing analytics, data analysis, or a related field. 

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. 

  • Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).  

  • Strong expertise in advanced SQL and proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R). 

  • Solid understanding of data structures, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts. 

  • Experience with data cleaning, preprocessing, and ensuring data quality. 

  • Experience in implementing and delivering data analytics solutions with measurable business impact. 

  • Solid understanding of market analysis, customer segmentation, and psychological pricing.  

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.  

  • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English. 

 

Would Be a Plus 

  • Experience in pricing strategy and analytics (cost-plus, value-based, competitive pricing models). 

  • Experience with dynamic pricing and price elasticity analysis.  

  • Knowledge of AI/ML applications in pricing.  

  • Familiarity with pricing intelligence tools and competitive monitoring platforms. 

  • Experience with retail pricing software (e.g., Revionics, DemandTec). 

  • Knowledge of pricing-related legal restrictions.
