Job description

At Joko, our mission is to we help consumers save time and money when shopping online or in-store.

Founded in Paris, Joko is a tech company and certified B Corp with over 105 talents across Paris, Barcelona, and New York (and beyond). More than 6 million users already save money every day at 10,000+ merchants with Joko.

From cashback and automatic coupons to price alerts, we've kept expanding our products to make shopping smarter. Today, Joko is an AI shopping app: with Juno, our shopping assistant, users can find the right product at the best price in only a few seconds, with recommendations that get sharper the more they use it.

Having reached profitability in our core market, we’re now scaling globally, with a strong focus on the US.

It’s still day 1, come build the future of shopping with us!

πŸ’° Our Finance team

The Finance team ensures Joko's financial health and long-term success. We manage everything from financial planning and accounting to financing and cash management.

We make sure every euro is put to its best use, working closely with all teams, we provide the insights and structure needed to scale efficiently.

As we scale, we're splitting Finance into three specialized poles: FP&A, Finance Operations, and Procurement. This role sits within FP&A β€” the pole that keeps every business decision financially grounded and data-driven. You'll report to Tanguy, our VP Finance.

✨ Why this role is special

FP&A is a brand-new specialized pole at Joko β€” previously bundled into a single generalist Finance Manager role. You'll help shape how the function partners with the business from the ground up, with direct visibility to the VP Finance.

  • Real influence on business decisions: you won't just report numbers, you'll shape budgets, forecasts, and the strategic calls that come with them.

  • Broad exposure across the business: from revenue lines to cost centres, you'll partner with stakeholders across the company, not sit behind a single P&L.

  • Modeling at real scale: you'll contribute to a 5-year financial model spanning several geographies and business lines as Joko expands internationally.

🎯 What You Will Do

As Finance Manager, FP&A, your main mission is to own the forward-looking view of the business β€” budgets, forecasts, and scenario planning β€” and partner closely with operational teams to ground every major decision in solid financial thinking. You challenge assumptions, anticipate risks and opportunities before they show up in the numbers, and help steer the business toward its targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own the budget and forecast process: the budget, re-forecast, and long-term business plan for your scope, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis;

  • Partner with budget owners: revenue, marketing, and cost centre leads β€” acting as their go-to financial interlocutor, challenging performance and co-owning corrective actions;

  • Identify cost optimization opportunities: work with Procurement to spot and prioritize savings across the business;

  • Ground OKRs in financial reality: make sure OKRs are financially grounded and cascade into operational objectives that contribute to the company's financial performance;

  • Contribute to the group's 5-year financial model: in Excel/Gsheet, across several geographies and business lines;

  • Drive automation of reporting and forecasting, working closely with BizOps;

  • Support fundraising rounds and board/shareholder reporting.

πŸ‘€ Who we're looking for

  • Experience: 2–6 years, combining a strong first experience in corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or transaction services, ideally with exposure to a high-growth tech company.

  • Education: A master's degree from a top business or engineering school.

  • Strategic mindset: You think like a business partner β€” connecting financial analysis to business decisions and comfortable challenging stakeholders with data.

  • Analytical and modeling skills: You're at ease with cohort-based revenue, elasticity-based CAC, and bottom-up cost modeling β€” or eager to learn fast.

  • Financial & accounting foundation: Solid grounding in core finance and accounting concepts β€” P&L structure, unit economics, cash flow β€” as the basis for the modeling and business partnering above.

  • Problem solving: You break down ambiguous, messy questions into structured analyses and clear recommendations.

  • Stakeholder management: You build strong relationships and communicate clearly with diverse audiences, treating Finance as a true business partner.

  • AI centricity: You use AI in your daily work today, and you're excited to help automate reporting and forecasting as part of Joko's AI-first finance ambition.

  • Languages: Fluent English required; French a strong plus.
