Role Description

• Design and manage Kubernetes clusters for application deployment.

• Implement GitOps workflows for automated deployments.

• Optimize CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration.

• Collaborate with teams to enhance platform reliability and security.

Required Skills

Kubernetes & GitOps

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and GitOps tools is essential.

• Design and management of Kubernetes clusters.

• GitOps workflow implementation for automated deployments.

Configuration Management

• Deep understanding of YAML for configuration management.

• Development of YAML-based configurations for Kubernetes workloads.

CI/CD & Automation

• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development is crucial for automating deployments.

• Experience with:

o Jenkins

o GitHub Actions

o GitLab CI

Containerization

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.

Observability & Monitoring

• Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog.

Networking & Platform Services

• Knowledge of networking policies and Ingress controllers in Kubernetes.

• Understanding of service mesh technologies.

Operations & Reliability

• Experience with incident management.

• Experience with root cause analysis.

• Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with teams to enhance platform reliability and security.
