Job description

TITLE: Palantir FDE
LOCATION: Remote
TYPE: Contract
LENGTH: Through the end of 2026, extensions into 2027 highly likely
RATE: Up to $105/hr W2

Client is launching strategic Palantir Foundry workstreams focused on enhancing perioperative operations and application performance. The engagement will begin with a discovery and design phase to align stakeholders on requirements, architecture, business logic, workflows, and success criteria before moving into development.

The primary workstreams include:

  • Enhancing the existing platform by transitioning from a utilization-based operating room allocation model to a demand-driven, multi-site optimization model. This includes integrating new demand and financial data sources, redesigning optimization logic, enabling cross-site prioritization, updating workflows and user interfaces, and validating the solution through testing and go-live support.
  • Modernizing the OR scheduler by migrating it to OSDK to improve user experience, scalability, performance, data quality, and system reliability. The effort includes redesigning workflows, rebuilding functionality within the new framework, optimizing application performance for large datasets, improving data integrity, and executing a structured testing, documentation, and support plan.
  • Establishing a single source of truth for surgeon metadata to eliminate CCF's current manual maintenance process. This includes reviewing the current architecture, data sources, and workflows; identifying new data sources; aligning with stakeholders on the future-state architecture and implementation plan; consolidating multiple metadata sources into a unified dataset; implementing required Ontology changes; leveraging pipeline business logic; and standardizing naming conventions and record identifiers.
  • Developing a new reporting interface to support the identification, analysis, and decision-making of clinic opportunities aimed at improving OR capacity utilization. This work includes identifying required data sources, defining integrations and transformations, implementing necessary Ontology changes, designing workflows, and creating the user interface.
