Job Summary

The Enterprise Technology Architect develops and advances enterprise architecture strategies, standards, roadmaps, and governance processes that support secure, scalable, and sustainable technology solutions aligned with business objectives. The role provides architectural leadership across the assigned area of focus such as security, infrastructure, network, application, and/or enterprise technology domains while ensuring solutions meet security, operational, regulatory, and business requirements. In partnership with business and technology stakeholders, the architect evaluates emerging technologies, drives innovation, reduces technical debt, and supports enterprise-wide technology transformation initiatives.

Requirements

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, Computer Engineering, or related field. In lieu of a degree, five (5) years of related experience may be considered.

Master's degree in a related field preferred.

CERTIFICATION/LICENSING

Project Management Professional (PMP), The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Health Information Trust Alliance (HITRUST), or other relevant professional certifications preferred.

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

Three (3) years of experience in an IT architecture role required.

Experience developing enterprise architecture frameworks, standards, principles, roadmaps, and reference architectures.

Experience designing and implementing enterprise technology solutions.

Experience leading technology initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Experience collaborating with business and technology leaders to align technology strategies with business objectives.

Experience evaluating, selecting, and implementing technology solutions.

Experience with enterprise security architecture and cybersecurity frameworks preferred.

Experience with IT Service Management (ITIL) processes and service lifecycle management preferred.

Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery planning preferred.

Experience with Agile methodologies and application lifecycle management preferred.

Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Experience with automation platforms, cloud technologies, APIs, containerization, microservices, and service-oriented architectures preferred.

Experience with Enterprise scale security tools (Firewalls, EDR, Segmentation, PKI) preferred.
Experience documenting and diagramming of architecture standards and designs, including security topics and solutions.
Experience collaborating on Security solution requirements and evaluations.

• Identifies, assesses, and mitigates architectural risks related to security, privacy, compliance, and operational resiliency.
• Integrates security, resiliency, and compliance principles into infrastructure, platform, application, and enterprise technology solutions.
• Leads proof-of-concept efforts, technology assessments, and solution evaluations to support strategic decision-making.
• Performs high-level capacity planning and support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives for critical systems and services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - The International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)², Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)

Security Requirements

This position is identified as level three (3). This position must ensure the security and confidentiality of records and information to prevent substantial harm, embarrassment, inconvenience, or unfairness to any individual on whom information is maintained. The integrity of information must be maintained as outlined in the company Administrative Manual.
