Job description

Description

Are you the person people count on to keep things moving? Do you enjoy building relationships across a team, adapting smoothly as priorities shift, and taking pride in getting the details exactly right? Do you like being the connector — the one who brings clarity, structure, and a steady hand to a fast-paced environment?

If so, we'd love to meet you.

We're looking for a Legal Support Coordinator who combines precision with people skills — someone who's comfortable adapting to changing priorities, enjoys collaborating with a wide range of personalities, and takes real satisfaction in getting the details right. This position will provide support to the Foundation Source Legal Services Department to assist in all areas of administration as needed across the department. This person should be a quick learner who builds strong working relationships with a team, while also being reliable and self-directed when working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Team & Communication Champion (40%)

  • Build rapport and communicate clearly and confidently with both internal teams and clients
  • Take ownership of administrative tasks such as preparing legal documents, corporate resolutions, and compliance paperwork — with a careful eye for accuracy
  • Help translate legal needs into actionable next steps for teams throughout the organization

Legal Process Partner (40%)

  • Help "close the loop" on legal projects by managing follow-ups, documentation, and task tracking with consistency and care
  • Serve as the go-to point person for legal-related requests that span multiple departments, adjusting your approach to fit different teams and situations
  • Provide foundational support — saving records, tracking case status, and ensuring continuity for clients and internal teams

Process & Operations Innovator (20%)

  • Spot opportunities to streamline processes and share knowledge across teams
  • Potential to coordinate and work within other departments for additional support, adapting easily as needs evolve

Requirements

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to grasp the big picture and learn how different aspects of a process affect each other, in addition to completing individual tasks with precision and follow-through
  • Highly motivated and people-oriented, with genuine enthusiasm for supporting others' success
  • Takes initiative
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • A proactive, can-do spirit with excellent communication and interpersonal skills — someone who naturally builds trust with clients and colleagues alike
  • A natural ability to organize, prioritize, and keep multiple projects on track with accuracy
  • Strong emotional intelligence — you know how to adapt your approach to different people and situations with ease
  • Comfort working both independently and in close, relationship-driven collaboration with others
  • At least 5 years of experience in a professional office setting preferred
  • A bachelor's degree preferred

Job Requirements for Remote Work Environment:
