Job description

About BiOptimizers

BiOptimizers exist to help people go from baseline health to peak biological performance. We develop science-backed supplements and wellness tools that deliver measurable results. As a remote-first company, our globally distributed team focuses on clarity, autonomy, and operational excellence. Every role is designed to support the health and performance of both our customers and our organization.

We're hiring a Packaging & Label Designer to own the design and production of our physical packaging and labels alongside the digital assets that bring them to life across channels. This is a hands-on, detail-obsessed role for a designer who is equally fluent in print production (dielines, prepress, supplement-facts panels, regulatory compliance) and digital design (e-commerce imagery, PDPs, social and ad creative). You'll partner closely with Brand, Product, Creative, Regulatory, and Operations to ship launches that are on-brand, compliant, and beautifully executed, at speed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Packaging & labels. Design supplement packaging and labels from concept to print-ready files — cartons, bottles, pouches, jars, and inserts — across a growing product portfolio.

  • Print production. Build and maintain accurate dielines, manage prepress, color separations, and proofing, and ship press-ready files that survive the move from screen to shelf.

  • Compliance. Lay out supplement-facts panels and compliance copy with precision; partner with Regulatory to keep every claim, disclaimer, and unit count accurate and FDA/FTC-aligned.

  • Digital. Translate each pack into digital assets — e-commerce hero images, PDP modules, A+ / Brand Store content, social, email, and paid creative — so the brand reads cohesively everywhere.

  • Brand system. Enforce brand consistency across every SKU and channel using our brand system, color standards, and typography; protect hierarchy, clarity, and premium realism.

  • Vendors & systems. Collaborate with print vendors and co-manufacturers on specs, materials, and quality, and help evolve packaging templates and asset libraries for scale.

Qualifications:

  • Experience. 3–5 years of packaging and label design experience, ideally in supplements, nutrition, food & beverage, beauty, or another CPG category.

  • Print + digital. A portfolio that proves both print and digital range — retail packaging that shipped AND polished e-commerce / social assets.

  • Production craft. Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and confidence building dielines, managing prepress, color profiles, and packaging specs.

  • Regulatory fluency. Working knowledge of supplement / CPG label requirements — supplement-facts panels, claims, net quantity, and the realities of regulatory review.

  • Design judgment. Strong typographic and layout instincts, with the restraint to keep work clean, premium, and on-brand rather than over-designed.

  • Operating rigor. Organized and deadline-driven — comfortable managing multiple SKUs and launches in parallel without losing accuracy.

  • Collaboration. A collaborative, low-ego partner who takes feedback well and communicates clearly across Brand, Product, and Operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Amazon A+ / Brand Store content and DTC e-commerce design systems.

  • Familiarity with 3D packaging mockups, motion basics, or structural / sustainable packaging.

  • Direct experience working with co-manufacturers and print suppliers on production runs.
