Moxie

Digital Health & Health Tech

MedSpas are booming, and are often a path for individual nurses to become business owners. We believe that’s a good thing for their communities, local economies, and clients. We started Moxie, to empower individual entrepreneurs in launching, running, and growing their own, independent MedSpas. We help our clients thrive by providing the tools and expertise normally reserved only for the big chains. Join us to help thousands of entrepreneurs across the country start and build their own businesses. We're a well-funded, seed-stage startup with paying customers. Our founders have previously built and exited two companies. Our culture is grown-up, and we’re working remote-first.

Job description

At Moxie, we empower ambitious aesthetic entrepreneurs to build profitable, independent practices—without burnout, overwhelm, or guesswork. In just a few years, we've grown from an idea to a global, remote-first team now supporting 700+ practices nationwide.

Our purpose is simple: to unlock sustainable success for aesthetic entrepreneurs, at every stage of their journey.

Social Media and Community Manager

We’re looking for a Social Media + Communications Manager to bring Moxie’s brand to life across our organic channels. This role owns the daily voice of Moxie — shaping how we show up on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Scale Society, and in the inboxes of prospects and customers.

You’ll also be stepping into a high-visibility role that blends creativity and strategy. You won’t just execute content — you’ll shape a narrative, deepen engagement, and help drive real business outcomes through nurture and community touchpoints.

This role sits within our Marketing team and will work closely with Growth, Advocacy, and Events. As we transition key channels away from agency support, you’ll build the foundation for a more agile, integrated, and authentic brand presence.

Our objectives for the role

1. Build a consistent, high-impact organic social presence.
Take ownership of Moxie’s Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, driving brand visibility, credibility, and follower growth.

2. Strengthen communication with prospects and customers.
Lead newsletters and nurture programs that improve open rates, click-throughs, and conversion throughout the funnel.

3. Bring community engagement to life.
Moderate and elevate Scale Society and social comment interactions — creating belonging, spark, and two-way dialogue.

4. Improve marketing team agility and execution.
Own social, email, and community execution with clear reporting, insights, and experimentation to help the team move faster.

5. Reduce reliance on agency vendors while increasing resonance.
Create a steady drumbeat of content that feels authentically Moxie — rooted in our customers, data, and evolving brand identity.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has demonstrated experience running organic social channels

You’ve owned content calendars, created social assets, managed posting cadences, and know how to adapt voice by platform.

  • Understands audience psychology and brand storytelling

You can turn insights, trends, or themes into posts, series, and conversations that feel human and compelling — not generic.

  • Is comfortable owning email communication and nurture programs

You know how to write high-quality newsletters and have experience improving open and click-through rates.

  • Can build community, not just content

You value two-way engagement and know how to cultivate belonging in comments, DMs, or community spaces.

  • Moves quickly, iterates often, and thrives in a fast-paced environment

You can run point on execution, bring structure to workflows, and surface insights that drive improvement.

  • Collaborates deeply across teams

You build strong relationships with design, growth, advocacy, and product partners — and know how to make cross-functional work easy.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience as a creator or running creator-forward content

  • Background in beauty, aesthetics, health, or consumer wellness

  • Experience launching social series or building engagement playbooks

  • Lifecycle, CRM, or email marketing experience

  • Community management experience

  • Experience at SaaS, consumer-tech, or B2B brands with strong organic presence

At Moxie, we believe in creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, trusted, and included. Our team lives by our values: act as owners, give more than we take, move with speed and care, and simplify and learn every day.

We welcome people of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to apply. If you require any accommodations to fully participate in the interview process, please let us know, we’re happy to assist.
