Summary:
Our Developer Experience (DevEx) team sits within Delinea's Cloud Engineering organization, and our mission is straightforward: make it dramatically easier for other engineering teams to build, ship, and run their services. We provide leverage and reduce toil across the org, owning the shared .NET and Go libraries, CI/CD pipelines, and canary-based deployment tooling that application teams rely on every day, all built on top of our shared infrastructure services.
As a platform engineer on this team, you'll help shape the paved paths other engineers build on. One of our current priorities is extending our platform to Azure Government to support FedRAMP certification while keeping our commercial cloud deployments healthy, but that's one initiative among several. Your work will span shared tooling, infrastructure as code, GitOps-based delivery, and the reference implementations that let other teams move faster with confidence. We're open to mid- and senior-level engineers; what matters most is the impact and judgment you bring, not a specific number of years.
What You'll Do:
· Build and maintain the shared libraries, tooling, and paved paths that our .NET and Go application teams depend on.
· Design, implement, and evolve Terraform modules and infrastructure as code across our cloud environments (Azure commercial and Azure Government).
· Configure and improve GitOps-based delivery with Argo CD, including canary and progressive rollouts, so teams can ship safely.
· Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that reduce friction and toil for application engineering teams.
· Contribute to our FedRAMP / Azure Government initiative, adapting deployment pipelines, PR-based approval workflows, and package strategies for government cloud boundaries.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs, propose technical solutions, and help shape architectural decisions.
· Create reference implementations and documentation that make platform capabilities easy for other teams to adopt.
· Participate in code reviews and mentor fellow engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
· Develop reusable and responsible AI-enabled workflows, skills, and automations to act as force multipliers for your fellow developers.
What You'll Bring:
· Strong production experience as a platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineer; you've built things other engineers rely on.
· Hands-on experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code at scale.
· Experience with GitOps delivery using Argo CD.
· Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with Azure DevOps.
· Solid working knowledge of Azure and Azure Resource Manager.
· Comfort with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
· Fluency in at least one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
· A collaborative, service-minded approach; you enjoy reducing toil and making other teams more effective.
· Strong written and verbal communication in English.
We'd Love to See:
· Experience building shared libraries or SDKs in .NET or Go.
· Familiarity with progressive delivery and canary deployments (Argo Rollouts).
· Experience with Azure Government or other government cloud environments (AWS GovCloud, etc.).
· Experience working with and extending LLM-powered coding tools and integrating AI into automations and the development lifecycle.
· Experience in compliance-regulated environments (FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC 2, NIST 800-53).
