Job description

JOB PURPOSE

The Technical Training Facilitator role is responsible for supporting the delivery of technical training solutions, managing communication and communities and sourcing e-learning content. This role will play a pivotal part in educating employees across Sage India, while supporting training initiatives globally, and advocating for the effective use and optimisation of Microsoft's suite of productivity tools.

The role will involve developing strong, collaborative relationships across the business to support and drive user adoption of productivity technologies. Additionally, the role will deliver regional onboarding, and post implementation support for internal Sage systems and acquisitions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Work collaboratively within the Digital Workplace department to support continuous improvement initiatives and effective delivery of technical training across Sage India/APAC.

· Support Technical Training Managers with the planning, organisation, and delivery of global technical training programmes that meet organisational needs.

· Act as the Point of Contact for Technical Training queries in Sage India/APAC while partnering with key departments and stakeholders.

· Prepare, maintain, and update training materials such as user guides, videos, tips, and learning resources to enable ongoing learning in the flow of work.

· Deliver IT onboarding activities for new joiners, helping employees become confident users of core productivity and collaboration tools.

· Communicate effectively across the business to promote productivity, security, and AI‑related solutions, learning opportunities, and best practice.

· Develop and nurture internal communities to encourage knowledge sharing, peer support, adoption of productivity, and emerging technologies.

· Support the administration and maintenance of learning platforms and tools, ensuring learning records, completion data, and reporting remain accurate and up to date.

· Stay informed about emerging productivity and AI technologies and share relevant insights with the Technical Training team to support continuous improvement of training content and approaches.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

· Experience in technical training, learning facilitation, or enablement roles.

· Experienced in training Microsoft 365 and interest in emerging productivity and AI‑enabled tools.

· Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, including creating engaging written communications and presenting to groups.

· Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines.

· Basic understanding of instructional techniques, different methods of delivery to different audiences, and experience explaining technical concepts simply.

· Confidence engaging with colleagues at different levels and encouraging participation and learning.

· A proactive, collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for learning and continuous improvement.
