SUMMARY

The Director of Team Member Experience and Engagement is responsible for leading US Renal Care's enterprise employee listening strategy and translating the voice of employees into actionable insights that strengthen culture, engagement, retention, and the overall employee experience.

This role serves as the enterprise owner of Qualtrics Employee Experience and leads an integrated listening strategy that includes enterprise engagement surveys, pulse surveys, lifecycle listening, and targeted listening initiatives. The Director will establish a consistent approach to how USRC listens to employees, identifies workforce trends, and turns insights into meaningful organizational action.

Working across a geographically dispersed and diverse workforce, the Director partners with Human Resources, Operations, Clinical Services, Communications, Learning - Development, and senior leadership to ensure employee voice informs people strategies and organizational priorities. The role is also responsible for advancing a culture that brings USRC's Mission, Values, and Behaviors to life and strengthens employees' connection to the organization and its purpose.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

  • Lead and continuously evolve USRC's enterprise employee listening strategy, creating an integrated approach to understanding the employee experience across key moments of the employee lifecycle.
  • Serve as the enterprise owner and subject matter expert for the Qualtrics Employee Experience platform, ensuring its capabilities are effectively leveraged to support organizational listening and decision-making.
  • Lead the design and execution of enterprise engagement surveys, pulse surveys, lifecycle listening, and targeted listening initiatives aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Establish a continuous listening framework that enables USRC to identify emerging workforce trends, employee needs, and organizational opportunities throughout the year.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative employee feedback to identify key engagement drivers, organizational strengths, workforce trends, and areas requiring focused action.
  • Translate employee listening data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for executive, HR, clinical, and operational leaders.
  • Develop enterprise dashboards, executive reporting, and presentations that provide meaningful visibility into employee sentiment, engagement trends, and organizational priorities.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to establish a consistent approach to action planning and accountability, ensuring employee feedback leads to meaningful and measurable organizational action.
  • Equip leaders with tools, insights, and resources to understand employee feedback, engage their teams, and take ownership of improving the employee experience.
  • Connect employee listening insights to broader people strategies, including leadership effectiveness, career development, recognition, retention, communication, culture, and organizational change.
  • Partner across Human Resources, Operations, Clinical Services, Communications, Learning - Development, and other functions to design and implement enterprise initiatives that address themes identified through employee listening.
  • Advance strategies that reinforce USRC's Mission, Values, and Behaviors and strengthen employees' connection to the organization's purpose and culture.
  • Establish and monitor key measures of employee engagement, listening effectiveness, and action-plan progress to evaluate impact and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify variations in employee experience across workforce populations and organizational segments to help leaders develop targeted and relevant strategies.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging trends and best-in-class practices in employee listening, culture, engagement, and employee experience, bringing innovative approaches and external perspectives to USRC.
  • Serve as a trusted internal consultant to leaders on employee engagement, organizational culture, and workforce insights.
  • Upholds management goals of corporation by leading staff in team concepts and promoting a team effort.
  • Maintains effective personnel management and employee relations, including evaluating the performance of all personnel; approving and submitting all hours worked and counseling and disciplining employees.
  • Recruits, trains, develops, and supervises personnel.
  • Effectively communicates expectations; accepts accountability and holds others accountable for performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
