Job description

Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Mortgage Servicing Platform Technical Architect for their Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Technical Architect — Mortgage Servicing Platform Replacement
  • Own the end-to-end target-state architecture for the new mortgage servicing platform, covering loan boarding, payment processing, escrow, investor reporting, and default servicing.
  • Lead platform evaluation (buy/build/hybrid) and fit-gap analysis against servicing volume, product mix, and investor/regulatory requirements.
  • Define the migration and cutover strategy (parallel run, phased boarding, or big-bang) balancing risk, cost, and business continuity.
  • Design the integration/API layer so the new platform is decoupled from origination, GL, investor accounting, and default systems for easier future upgrades.
  • Set data migration standards and reconciliation approach for legacy loan-level and escrow data.
  • Participate in architecture governance reviews and manage technical risk across vendors and internal teams.
  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between Servicing Operations, Compliance, the platform vendor, and IT delivery teams.
 
Requirements:
  • Require 10+ years in financial services architecture, with 4-5+ years in mortgage servicing/origination platforms and hands-on experience with at least one major system (MSP/ICE, Sagent, Black Knight, FICS, Finastra).
  • Preferred: cloud re-platforming experience, credit decisioning/scoring integration exposure (e.g., FICO), and multi-vendor systems-integrator background.
  • Conceptualizing and implementation of Future state Technical Architecture
  • Ability to communicate with C level leadership
  • Years of Experience:   7.00 Years of Experience
